The room was huge, 3 adults 2 children. Easy area to reach downtown Memphis. West Memphis is actually across the river in Arkansas, bonus checked another state off bucket list. Didn't have time for breakfast but bed was comfortable and kids enjoyed the pool.

This location was convenient for the event we were attending at the Metal Museum in Memphis, a visit to the National Civil Rights Museum, and a walking tour of Beale Street. It was about a ten minute drive. We ate at Margaritas across the interstate from the hotel and enjoyed the meal.

I had a good time at the hotel but the front desk lady was not ready and it was after 3:00 other people was coming in with reservation was getting checked in she said the computer is saying my room is still not ready so why everybody else room was ready it was another lady came up and help me I end up getting a room about 45 minutes later and I told her thank you.

The "not-so-great" is that we requested linens for the pull-out couch and the clerk said we could come get it. I was already in my pjs so we did without and my grandson took pillowcases off the extra pillows and made a "blanket" out of that. Otherwise, the room was clean, spacious, and adequate. They will make you feel less than a human.
They will make you feel less than a human. They do not like people from Memphis, Tennessee. If you had a long trip and you are tired they will not let you stay there if you are from Memphis, Tennessee they told us we not allowed or welcomed to be on their property but they allow us to book the hotel we was very tired and needed rest. In so many words they was like we hate you people and that was the first time we ever met ????? It was a very sad experience.

West Memphis is a great growing small town. The restaurants are have good food and great service. I like the fact that there is a variety of places to eat in close proximity of the different places to stay! Colton's Steakhouse is one of my favorite places for steak and Seafood Shack which is relatively new is wonderful for all types of seafood. One thing we didn't realize when we booked was that West Memphis was in Arkansas. We chose this area so we were ready to head north on the interstate in the morning vs driving through Memphis morning rush hour which was perfect. We felt very safe staying here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed talking to the breakfast lady who was very upbeat. Highly recommend this hotel.PhilCanada

I had to go to the store and get cleaning supplies to clean with. I asked for a refund but it seems that Booking and the Hotel was in cahoots with eachother and I wasnt able to get my money back. I understand that it wasnt the Hiltons but damn at least clean the room. Housekeeping lady told me that they dont clean the rooms well because the owner dont pay them well. Bad business! I will never stay at another Motel 6 again.

The lady at the front desk wasn’t super pleasant and even though they knew we needed sheets for the sofa bed they didn’t offer them until we called and had to go back down and wait a while. Then we only got one flat sheet. There is also no ac in the hallways so it was a very warm walk to our room. Room was fine and breakfast was awesome. Loved the hotel room very much: very safe, spacious, clean, modern, with extremely comfortable beds and pillows and with much appealing and well appointed bathrom. Had my best sleep at night for as long as I can remember. I would definitely stay again at this hotel when in and around Memphis.
