Cute hotel in Morro Bay, centrally located so you can easily walk to the waterfront and all the other attractions the town has. You could even easily walk to the beach by the rock if you were up for a bit longer of a hike. Room was nice, and a very friendly cat greeted us just after we checked in.

Loved Morro Bay, but wish we'd had more time to visit other places around the area. Easy walk to shops and restaurants on main street. We especially liked Kickers (Tabitha was awesome), The Great American Fish Company, and Blue Sky Bistro. This was our first trip to the area, but it won't be our last.

Morro Bay is a beautiful place to visit.

Morro Bay is a beautiful place to visit. The view of the rock is amazing. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Shops are within walking distance from most hotels. Fabulous restaurants...many food choices. Morro bay is dog friendly. I love seeing all these friendly dogs who love to be petted and loved on. My favorite coffee shop is Sun n Buns...Great place for coffee and danishes.

Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town.

Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town. It is quiet, at least in February when we visited. The sea lions and otters are fun to watch and listen to. There are lots of restaurants and bars to chose from for going out. We loved the wine and beer choices at The Savory Palette. There is live music but not on the night we were there.

Small town, quaint relaxing beach town. Most buildings are dated but alot of renovations going on. Tons of antique shops to visit in town some pricey. Great selections of food and restaurants both on wharf and in town.

We were surprised by the small town.

We were surprised by the small town. Great places to eat and buy souvenirs, but best of all was seeing the otters and their cubs up close. We loved it! There were also some harbor seals on the platforms. Guaranteed fun for animal lovers. We also took a walk to Morro Rock and watched the sandbanks and the waves breaking on the rocks. It was great! We had breakfast at Frankie and Lola's Front Street Cafe. We had lunch at Tognazzinis, dinner at The House of Juju and beer at Three Stacks and a Rock Brewing Company.

They did not provide breakfast but they provided a coffee maker in the room with an abundance of coffee, water, and a coupon for a free cinnamon bun next store. They are extremely dog friendly and provided our two dogs with a gift bag that contained little blankets, toys, and a doggie bone. They provided dog bowls in the rooms and were very accommodating. The property is walking distance to all these great restaurants and shopping and is directly across from the rock at Morro Bay. They are extremely accommodating.

I love that the staff showed us around the hotel, gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates from the candy store downstairs and the location couldn't have been any better (unless we booked the room with the view). We were so close to the stores, view and restaurant that we never had to log anything around with us or use a public restroom. Rooms were very clean and modern. Glad we were able to land this location and hope we can book one with the ocean view next time.

Comfy and cosy room which was very clean and had beautifully decorated, it had everything we needed for our 1 night stay. As there are only a few rooms, it felt very homely. Claudia was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is very conveniently located in Morro Bay, about 5 mins walk from the harbour and nearby restaurants. We enjoyed the breakfast basket of freshly baked scones, fruit, coffee, yoghurt and granola. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Morro Bay!

This was by far the best hotel I have stayed at while in Morro Bay. The room had everything we needed and was laid out and designed as actual people would use. The plugs all had USB ports and were in every location you could possibly need one. The best of all was the crown light that acted as a mood light in the room. I have never seen this done before and it is absolutely beautiful. This is now our go-to place in Morro Bay. Well done team at Blufftop, you outdid everyone!!

The room was large, well appointed (large TV, microwave, refrigerator, big comfy bed, patio w/ nice view) and very quiet at night despite being almost full and very dog friendly. We walked easily to the waterfront where we enjoyed dining on the water, listening to a band in the park and watching wildlife (seals, otters, birds) from the deck/park that runs all along the waterfront.

The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The view of Morro Bay was also very nice. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown restaurants and the Embarcadero that has plenty of shopping opportunities and restaurants. We had covered parking and didn't move the car except to take a ride north along the coast to visit the sea elephants, which was awesome.
