We stayed here one night coming home from overseas. the shuttle came when we called about 5 minutes later. we booked our early shuttle for the next morning when we checked in due to the number of people checking in and airline crew. Stayed here for one night as flew in from FL and flight from JFK the next day. Didn’t want to risk bad weather so flew to NYC day before. Was expecting ho hum room but instead it was perfect. the shuttle took an hour to collect from the airport then another hour to get to the hotel via every terminal - i should have booked a taxi. The hotel is OLD and very expensive for what it is which is essentially a roadside motel. the carpets are dirty and as old as the building and smell . The photos on the website do not reflect reality. the receptionist was not friendly, very grumpy and dint care to answers questions. fast food available outside. no restaurants close by. For an airport hotel, id spend the additional $100 and stay at the Marriot or TWA. THIS HOTEL IS NOT AS ADVERTISED and bookings.com should take more time to vet the hotels they represent. Everything about this hotel is stuck in the '70's

Directions given were so vague to a first time visitor that it took 2 hours before we met up with the shuttle, so 3 hours before we crawled into bed. There was an error with our booking that the night clerk tried to fix which made it much worse. The hotel is old tired & heavily used, so it is quite dirty & not as advertised, e.g. room carpet stinks.
