It was an older place, maybe late 1940’s but was well maintained. There were some good ornamentation: colorful plants, sculpture, painting in the room. The couple who owned the place were warm and friendly, eager to please.

Did not stay long. Arrived in the evening. Didn't have great restaurants but did eat at a charming Mexican place. Traffic wasn't bad. We went to the National Refuge and the State Park. The weather was rough - but we loved the places we went. Small town. Not a lot happening. Quiet and uneventful which is exactly what we hoped for.

Traffic was the biggest issue, lots of slow downs getting there. Ate at a great Chinese restaurant in Aberdeen which is close by and had a good breakfast at the Quinault Casino just outside of Ocean Shores the next morning.
