We had a comfortable weekend stay at the Hampton Inn in Childress, TX. Our event was my High School Reunion, located in Wellington, TX. Only a short 30 minutes away. The front desk manager, Elva was exceptionally helpful with making sure that our small requests /room type were implemented. Our King Suite room was super comfortable, the pillows were just right. The long desk/table in our suite was awkward & wasn’t needed. The Hampton Inn location was perfectly located off of 287 /Hwy 83, Walmart was next door and Starbucks was a couple of traffic lights away. Hampton Inn & Childress, TX thanks for your hospitality.

I was passing through on my way to Spring.
I was passing through on my way to Spring. Childress had a lot of hotels to choose from. There were a lot of gas stations that had coffee and beverage options, as well as restaurants. There is a Walmart near the hotels. While I didn't stay long in Childress, I had a pleasant time there. There was NOTHING special about this town. Restaurants and diners closed at 2pm. Nothing but a few fast food places to choose from. The people were nice and professional. But couldn't find any entertainment after my business was done.EricaUnited States of America
