It was a new shower head system to use it, and the employee can't show us how to use it. This problem was solved by the manager about the time to check out. I asked the manager to put up the instruction for how use the shower head so, customers don't have to feel bad about missing their showers. Other then that everything was more than good.

A really nice, clean small city south of Amarillo.

A really nice, clean small city south of Amarillo. It is obvious that the residents are proud of their city and keep it clean and fresh. A pleasant surprise after a long day through the Texas oil country.

Canyon is a great option for visitors to Palo Duro Canyon.

Canyon is a great option for visitors to Palo Duro Canyon. The Panhandle Plains Museum is interesting and just down the street. Honey Buzz Winery is almost next door and great for a sandwich, snack, and glass of wine. The Peach Dream is light and refresing. Wrong Way Feldman's and Joe Taco offer large, tasty food choices at very reasonable prices. The Palo Duro Jeep Tour at Elkins ranch is a thrill and Case, the guide, is a hoot. The Texas Outdoor Musical is not to be missed in July and August and the horseback riding, especially at Cowgirls and Cowboys of the West at Los Cedros ranch was enjoyable, picturesque. and delivered an appreciation of the old West. And Canyon is a short drive to Amarillo.

    Clean hotel with great service.

Clean hotel with great service. (MIke at the front desk was great) Price was very good for place near a state park in the middle of summer. Breakfast could be a little more varied and they need an ice machine on each floor not just one in the lobby

I liked the location, bed, maid services, ice machine,...

I liked the location, bed, maid services, ice machine, friendly girl at desk. I did not like the attitude towards me (customer) when I asked how to operate TV remote! The male attendant (Indian, bearded) too aggressive & shying away the office responsibilities. Tried to shut me out by telling me "the office is closed" at 8:40pm and the office sign "OPEN" next to him inside office. He needs SENSITIVITY training/certificate towards customers or to be FIRED since he will scare away future unknowing customers. There are plenty hotel associates looking for such work these days. JLM

I came to go hiking at the Canyon.

I came to go hiking at the Canyon. I did this........it was great! We visited the Catholic church and the Catholic Student Center. We went thru the Panhandle Plains Museum. We spent over two hours and could have spent more time, but we got tired........The new restaurant, Texas Rose Steakhouse, is GREAT!!

The photos do not do justice to the awesome view of the PaloDuroCanyon. Host has telescope to watch wildlife, terrain & stars! Gameroom was so fun, books aplenty, games & game spaces abound, stocked kitchen, pleasing decor, comfy beds, wonderful hot tub to soak in while enjoying the overlook of the cliffs, handy outdoor grill & tables, easy entrance to load & unload, great hiking, pets yard, THIS HOME WAS AMAZING!
