The hotels very nice , well designed and clean. The restaurant is also quite good although the menü is very limited, what they have is good quality. I enjoyed my stay
Built in 1909, the charming Sigtuna Stads Hotell lies along the banks of Lake Mälaren in the center of Sweden´s oldest town, Sigtuna, with origins dating back to the middle ages.

Situated with a lovely prospect of the lake and easy access for walking along the waterfront and to the shopping street and nearby gallery, we loved the location; such a short-drive from the airport made it the best choice after an international flight. The meal in the restaurant of Swedish cuisine, and yes, even a wonderful bottle of Swedish wine, recommended by a brilliant head waiter, was dazzling good fun. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and an elaborately diverse spread. Good coffee! The historic large room was comfortable and charming, with fine bed. One of our favorite hotel stays!
Set in an atmospheric building from the early 1900s, this peaceful hotel is found in Sigtuna. It provides traditional Swedish cuisine, plus free Wi-Fi, parking and sauna access.

Very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The hotel itself is beautiful and historic with a cool patio and nice restaurant. The included breakfast was one of the best I've ever had traveling in Europe, with lots of small touches (like pre-brewed Earl Grey tea) that made it special.

The view from the room was very nice! There is a lot of parking space.
We arrived within the allowed check-in hours, but couldn't get in (through my own fault, I had lost the door code), but some students on the campus were kind enough to help us get in.

Sigtuna is amazing, it is a small town so you can defenitly see all of it in one day, but it is absolutely worth going there. It is the oldest town in Sweden and has a very rich viking history. The town is still the way it was 1000 years ago!! Around the little town are very old rune stones that are absolutely worth seeing, also beautiful viking ruins. I would also recommend the Sigtuna museum for some great viking history and very interesting information about Sigtuna in olden times. If you are curious about viking life..sigtuna is the place to be!
I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was so helpful! We picked this hotel as we had a day layover in Stockholm and a long hall flight the next day. It was so nice to go for a walk around the city and the walking paths were beautiful. Charming little town. They recommend a restaurant in the city to get some Swedish meatballs and wow, they were the best my mom and I ever had! Would love to visit again!
Hotel very clean. Good breakfast. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were spending the following day in the town and the hotel were happy for us to leave our bags in their luggage room until we were ready to travel onward in the evening. The hotel is on the outskirts of the town but Sigtuna is very small so it is only a 3 or 4 minute walk and you are in the centre.
It's a separate apartment, with its own entrance, in a private house situated in the center of Sigtuna (5 minutes walk to the main street). It's cosy, clean and well-equipped - you even have some outdoor furniture at your disposal, so you can eat your breakfast in the sun, just as we did :-) owners are really friendly too, so it really feels like home.
We were so warmly and kindly welcomed and looked after in this lovely hotel a short walk from the twin centre. All staff were so friendlly and kind , we were upgraded and had two lovely double bedrooms and were given a late checkout to accommodate our needs. It could not have been a nicer stay in the most perfectly located hotel in beautful Sigtuna.
The hotel was very good and the experience in overall was very good. Apparently when we booked the room and checked for the baby cot they missed it, but the lady at the reception fixed this in a moment and when we checked in the baby cot was already in the room. The area was very relaxing.
We loved this place. Our last stop before leaving Sweden and it was spectacular!! it was so relaxing peaceful. The breakfast was a variety of al types of goodies. They have a bar right on the back lawn that makes it perfect to sit and watch people go by and enjoy the lake view.

Cosy room in a scenic and quiet hotel on the high grounds of Sigtuna but within short walking distance from the centre
flexible reception (early arrival accepted, as the rooms were ready)
We really had a fantastic time in Sigtuna. Cosy hotel with friendly staff and a fantastic view over the lake. The breakfast was a pleasure and also the evening restaurant is awesome.
The location is great for a short walk down to Sigtuna center. The breakfast was tasty. It's in an old building with lots of history and interesting rooms.
