This place is an absolute gem, it's very private, the room is basically a separate small "house". It is spacious, with comfy bed, table, a/c, you have your own fridge and drinkable tap water... There is a small patio with chairs outside the room and a lovely garden. The shower works really well, it has hot water, the wifi works perfectly. Diego was really nice and friendly, he ensured I had all I needed.
The location is also great, easy walk (no hills!) from the bus stop and the main park.
I felt very safe (as a solo female traveler), not just in the hostal but overall in Paraguari. It's a total paradise for nature lovers, there are lots of hikes around (I really liked Cerro Hu and Cerro Santo Tomas).
I prolonged my stay basically immediately after I arrived and I wish I had more time, I would have definitely stayed longer!

The house is located on a ranch that has a little of everything on it: fruit trees or various kinds, vegetable and herbal garden, very friendly dogs, pig sty, free roaming horses, chickens, cows. I got home-made yoghurt and fresh-pressed orange juice from Sabrina in the morning. Much appreciated. The Haas family have made it possible for 4 Haas generations to live together here, like it used to be in the past. Sabrina was very helpful with practical tips for newcomers like myself, and shared contact info about who to talk to regarding matters like import and real estate.
