Great place, easy check in and check out, awesome water pressure for the shower, coffee and coffee maker, fridge with complimentary juice and heater and A/C. Everything you need and easy to find if you’re coming in off the Rota Vicentina hiking. Appreciated the clothes line outside the window. Very quiet.

I liked the privacy and out door space to use. We liked the comfortable bed, bathroom and kitchen. I was very pleased to find quick access to hiking, running and biking trails. I was also please to have a couple of restaurants within walking distance.

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available.
The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.
We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's
It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

Overnight motorhome/campervan parking now illegal in Portugal so angry about this. You can only park in authorised campsites. Otherwise I love Odeceixe - back to nature, village has good restaurants and bars. If no transport it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to walk to beaches where there are cafes and shops. Rota Vibcentina cliff top walk on other side of estuary has stunning views across the Atlantic and is the only place in Europe where storks nest on coastal cliffs.
Hostel Seixe did not disappoint. It was very clean, homey, and kitted out with anything you could need if travelling or backpacking. Seixe is certainly the cleanest hostel I think I've ever stayed in anywhere. Odeceixe is a nice, small town, ideal for stopping over during a trip up or down the coast or to explore the Fisherman's Trail. The hostel is well located in the centre of town and walking distance to all amenities. Nadine and Matthias make every effort to make their guests welcome and comfortable. Thank you both!
Are you looking for a peaceful and relaxing place? Don't search more, you found the best place to be. Waking up and going directly to the pool, right before breakfast. Enjoy the first meal of the day in the facilities to have a great morning! After a full day at one of the beaches nearby, relax by the pool and after, you can go for dinner in one of the villages close by. The room we stayed in had everything that we needed and the staff was always there for us if we needed anything.
We'll come back, for sure :)
Great apartment for a few nights in Odeceixe. It has a balcony to dry your things from the beach and have breakfast and meals on. The bed was very comfy and the living space was ideal. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, just needed a few more things to cook with if you were staying longer. It's located right in Odeceixe but in a quiet area. Apart from the parties at the Clube, there was very little noise. The house kept cool during the day and night so it was manageable without having aircon.
Outstanding friendly staff & owner's hospitality.
The Location is great. Quiet and in beautiful part of the village. 5 mins away from the beach by car.
We stayed at "Arroz" Room for the weekend, comfy and functional for a couple, with a small lovely balcony/patio.
Breakfast was simple but all the food with an immense plating care, freshness and overall great taste.
Dinner at NAPERON (the property's restaurant) is a must, outstanding food and wine experience.
Great location in the center of town and also conveniently located just next to a delightful cafe next door. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and was really impressed by the room. The beds ensure some privacy with curtains, the rooms have a separate bathroom that is clean and well looked after, there is little street noise filtering in and overall the decor is just really inviting. Great value and would recommend to anyone passing through this quaint town.
This was the best accommodation we had during our trip in Portugal. We loved the place. Its location is unique, and together with the overall atmosphere makes it a perfect place to stay. The staff is incredibly nice, we felt really welcomed. We also had a delicious dinner (fresh grilled fish) and amazing desserts in the restaurant there. If you can´t decide, have the mango mousse, it´s SO yummy!
We received an incredibly warm welcome from the owner. The room and terraces were large, clean and well equipped. Loved the breakfasts. View from our room was beautiful. The owner operates a small vegetable farm nearby. We walked to the beach (perhaps three km each way). Little cafes and shops at the beach for shade and refreshments.
The position is great. Quite ok for a night stay or if you are a passionate surfer and need a place to crush and dry things.- bathroom is huge. Worth mentioning that Odeceixe is one of the best places I travelled so far, and this made me wish having a better accommodation. Will be going back there to stay longer
Nice and quiet area, overlooking fields and just 3,5 km from the beach. You can walk ir take the little beach train (in tge summer inly) that has a stop just 2-3min away by foot. Nice walk to the center of the village - great views. The walk back makes for a good exercise up the hill 😉
Super helpful family runs this small, intimate hotel. It is nicely situated at the edge of town for hikers on the fisherman’s trail. The rooms are small but functional and exceptionally clean. Beds are firm. This was my best night sleep of the trip.
Location, super clean, super cosy, friendly owners, all we need in the kitchen, wc and laundry, car park... Fantastic experience at the amazing Odeceixe village. Thank you Mr. Jose and Fatima.
Centrally located in Odeceixe, the room was large and provided common kitchen and seating access. The host provided laundry service upon request. Check-in and check-out were very easy.
