The view is amazing. It's worth to pay the difference to have a bedroom with view to the sea.

The location is very good, Estoril is a very nice place.

Was in a quiet area with plenty of off road parking for this time in the season. There was plenty of space in the room and the kitchenette was well stocked with items needed for small amount of self catering. The balcony with table and chairs was huge and we faced the pool. The pool was a nice size and clean with sun beds and a pool bar. The breakfast was ok and there was enough to choose from for most people’s needs.

Loved the area, was close to go to Sintra for a day of exploring. That was a magical place. Loved the shopping, the beach, the food. Gorgeous view of the beach. It was warm and lovely in April. We used taxi to get around and it was very reasonable rates.

Estoril is a beautiful location to stay.
Estoril is a beautiful location to stay. Walking along the promenade towards Caiscais was wonderful and we got to experience the sea in many different moods, calm, stormy and just blue waves most days. It is so easy to get the train to Lisbon from here, just get a Navigante Occasionale card. We also used a very reasonably priced Uber to go to Sintra, which was stunning, a must-see. We had some amazing food, you need to try Manjar da Vila in Caiscais, very authentic Portuguese cuisine.

We came for a wedding, but have always stayed in Algarve, we visited friends who had a villa near sintra, we visted Cascias (drove around) and see a small bit of Estoril.
Having seen many wonderfull looking places just while driving about wished we had stayed in this area longer to visit and see more.
So intend to re-visit and see it all properly
Lovely family run hotel. Spotlessly clean including outdoor area, which was tended to throughout the day.
Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.
Owners and front of house staff were helpful and able to understand any requests even with my lack of Portuguese.
Hotel is 5 minute walk from Poça Beach. Lovely walk along the front will take you into Cascais where there are more shops, restaurants and bars. Hotel is located between 2 train stations, each about 10/15 minute walk. This was useful for travelling into Lisbon.
The breakfast was excellent, one of the best we have had. There was great variety, high quality, and a reasonable price. The room had a good view of the sea and coastline, although the balcony was noisy as the hotel is by a busy junction on the main road. With the double glazing the room was quiet if the door was shut. The room was modern and there was a great shower. The gym on the sixth floor was very well equipped and with lovely views towards Cascais.
What an incredible incredible hotel! The best part about it is definitely the kind staff. Not one person did not greet us with a smile and were so hospitable. The beds are comfy, their spa is amazing, and their rooftop pool was amazing. We also had such yummy drinks and delicious food served by the great Ricardo. The guy at the front desk who checked us in was very kind too! I believe his name was Francisco.
Hotel Inglaterra is a charming, older hotel with a variety of engaging public areas, including a large lobby, a nice breakfast room with adjoining terrace (closed when we were there due to rain), and a pool with large deck. Our room was quite spacious, with entry area, closet, and desk/seating area. We especially liked having windows we could open on two sides, with ocean views.
Room was a good size. TV only in local language. Pool a good size but in shade and so always cold. Not enough sun beds. Snack bar was fine but basic. Beds comfy and nice hotel but a bit far from main areas of Estoril. Arrived 20 mins before checj in and was told had to wait which as annoying but overall its an ok hotel
Monte Estoril is a great location, beside the train station if you want access to Cascais or towards Lisbon. It has a village feel with restaurants, shops, a bar, away from the bustle and the noise of Cascais, yet only 5 mins by taxi or a 35/40 minute walk along the promenade.
1. Great stuff, all were helpful if any requests and smiling which make our stay enjoyable.
2. good location: relatively close to ocean and train station: 10 min walk, close to Cascais 30 min by walk or 5 min by train), train to Lisbon just 30 min and goes every 10-15 min.
It's a no-frills hotel, with a nice pool and good breakfast buffet, located just a short walk away from Tamariz Beach and the Estoril Casino and you can also visit Cascais while you are at it.
Beautiful boutique hotel in central Estoril, in a very good area. Lovely interior of the hotel. The main sites and beach are walking distance. The hotel staff was very kind and welcoming.
