Location is good - right nearby Old City Gate (it has some disadvantages, like noise, but it's still worth pointing out, that it is literally on the border of the beautiful Old City).
No problems with staff.

Add ok public transport to the mix, and You have great place for slow, relaxing vacations.

We stayed in Olztyn for one night only as a stop-over during a long car trip. We enjoyed the town as it was very cozy, the locals were friendly and the restaurant we ate at was very nice. I would visit Olztyn for 2-3 days again.

Nice, small Polish city.
Nice, small Polish city. Some interesting buildings - easy to walk around and get where I needed to go. People I spoke to were ok though you need to try some Polish (same throughout the country which is fine). Poland is what you expect.

Olsztyn is an historic town whose history, like so much of Eastern Europe, is complicated. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring and learning - and relaxing of course ( in summer there is a town beach to use). Public transport is cheap and easy (make sure you have the jakdojade app on your phone - big help). We ate in different restaurants from Polish (with a fish specialty because of the region) to Greek and Indian - they were all excellent.
Now we have "done" the town we would look to explore the surrounding area.

Olsztyn's a very nice city - not too big, not soo small, with all the amenities one needs. Everything is in fairly short walking distance if you stay in the Old Town or elsewhere in the center. Attractive Old Town full of restaurants and cafes. Lots of nice, interesting buildings outside the Old Town too - the city is an architectural feast. Beautiful park along the Lyna river next to the Castle. Długie lake is also very nice - there's a path going around it. Also check out the interesting shows at the Planetarium. (Tip: if you're staying in the Old Town and come by train, use Olsztyn Zachodni station - it's a short walk.)
Good hotel in general. The room we had was spacious and bedroom with very comfortable bed. The bathroom was nice and big. There was air conditioning in all the rooms which was great as the room was extremely hot.
The breakfast was ok with not bad selection of hot and cold food.
The restaurant for dinner had really good food. We enjoyed the quality and the menu.
Sauna place is super small but on a good side it was open 24h/7 and min in gym as well.
The location is good and 12 minutes walk from the old town.
Excellent: Central location and a big space, great beds, very clean, modern in a well maintained historic building, well equipped.
Beautiful surroundings. Ceska Gospoda (Czechs Pub) is in the basement. On one side you see the Evangelical church that is right across the street, the other windows overlook the castle and the park. Very quiet, 8 min walk to Olsztyn Zachodni train station. Plenty of little cafes and shops right 1-2 min walk.
The apartment matched our needs very well. It is very conveniently located in the city center of Olsztyn. A lot of sights and shops are within walking distance. Though it is in a central location it is a quiet place. We could sleep very well. The amenities were excellent and we liked the way the apartment is decorated. All the furniture were comfortable. Staying in this apartment was a great experience. Thanks a lot!
This wasn't our first visit to this hotel, but anyway we were again positively surprised. It was really great to make use of the beautiful SPA facilities, the staff was again very friendly and their flexibility regarding i.e. checking out a bit later is really great. We had diner in the restaurant as well, which was delicious.
We were very impressed with the amenities and practicality of the apartment. New, spacious, tastefully furnished. A great host who welcomed, advised and recommended what to see and where to go in Olsztyn. There is private parking and a particularly good location, 2 minutes' walk to the center. I highly recommend it.
Excellent apartment 300 meters to Olsztyn Zachodni railway station, 1 km to two big lakes, and 400 meters to the city center. 5 separate beds. The host met us even earlier and gave us the keys. Also host prepared some minor surprises as a bottle of wine, apples, etc. Amazing experience!
Location is good - right nearby Old City Gate (it has some disadvantages, like noise, but it's still worth pointing out, that it is literally on the border of the beautiful Old City).
No problems with staff.
Tap water is good (just like in most of Olsztyn).
I really liked the location. This hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town. There are many pubs and restaurants near the hotel. There is deli very close to this hotel where you can buy a bread, milk and other stuff -just 5 minutes walking distance.
Nice, spacy room. Big swimming pool, with a few other smaller pools. Tasty breakfast. The food the hotel restaurant served was superb! Good portions, very tasty, the cocktails were quite expensive though.
Beautiful hotel, by the lake; wide room with a pleasant terrace and lake view. Both dinner and breakfast was was great. It was a calm, modern hotel. We enjoyed it very much.
It had everything I would have expected in a good hotel 10 years ago. It was clean, well looked after, the staff were friendly and efficient. The public spaces were good.
