The main street is not attractive, it's not the historical village. However, the area around the city is beautiful. The mountains are not too high, nice for a day walk. There is also a brand-new obserwation tower near the Krynica.

Krynica is a spa town nestled in the mountains.
Krynica is a spa town nestled in the mountains. It is famous for its mineral waters and healthy air. The main town is pretty small - a prominade more than anything - but you can walk out of town in all directions and find some interesting views. There are a lot of hiking trails and Nordic Walking trails for those who are more mobile. It is a great place for walking, skiing, sitting around and relaxing. There are some good restaurants and bars in the town. For me, the most interesting sites are the buildings.

Krynica is known for spas and skiing.
Krynica is known for spas and skiing. There's not much else here. I recommend the Nikifor museum and the Toy museum. There is a pleasant centre you can walk around - takes 30 minutes. I really like the shopping - you can get handpainted pottery and nice wool socks. There are lots of good restaurants and pubs.

A lovely little spa town in Southern Poland, close to the Slovak border and to some of the area's main spots of interest, including the Tatra mountains, ice caves and parks. Krynica Zdroj itself has a lively center with an impressive and colorful musical fountain, spa centers, restaurants and attractions for children too. Approach is easy from 4 airports which are within 2 hours or less distance by car.
Located near the center of Krynica with easy access to all restaurants, water drinking facilities etc. The hotel has some years but is well kept and maintained. Nice room with decent size. Coffee facilities in the room. Bed was comfortable and cleaning was well done, above average compared to other hotels i stayed in lately. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choices, loved the pancakes with filling. Parking (fee) just outside the hotel.
I was surprised that this hotel was really nice and well furnished. The owner was very polite and helpful. He was waiting for us due to quite late arrival. Breakfast was very tasty and well served. The kitchen was available 24 hours a day. There is even nice and well equipped gym facility, however we did not use it. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
A lovely place with natural surroundings, nice views of the trees and hillside from the balcony. Very peaceful too. No problems at all with cleanliness. There was a slight problem with water leaking from the shower, but staff came immediately to help with this and dealt with it really well. Krynica-Zdrój is conveniently located about 10 mins walk away. Very happy!
Location of the hotel is very close to city center, easy to reach to main square on foot. Under ground parking available, with additional fee but helpful. SPA services were exceptional. large area, and relaxing. Officers were helpful to arrange a massage for me. Definitely recommended to use SPA services,
A pleasant, friendly, no frills hotel in a perfect location (3 minutes from the Old Spa Building). Polite and helpful staff, generous and tasty breakfast with local cheeses and sausages. Free parking. Our room (a double) was small, but the view from the balcony lovely.
Amazing hotel, great take in every single moment. A very fresh, nice designed and modern hotel. Kitchen ( breakfast, restaurant, lobby bar) is a delicious one and choice is 10 points. Fast trouble shooting, helpful concierge service and great attention to children.
Very clean hotel, the staff is friendly, location is impeccable. Most importantly, very dog friendly! They even have their "animal relationship manager", and provided a bowl with my dog's name on it and a ball to play with. Also the breakfast *chefs kiss* awesome.
Spectacular swimming pool with spotless tiles and crystal clear water (perfect temperature), best hotel-breakfast I have ever had (for example tomatoes are served peeled and they taste like organically grown!), very friendly and helpfull staff.
The hotel is new so all is still clean and well organized. The hotel restaurant offers one of the best breakfast selection we ever had. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located in the heart of Krynica.
Continental breakfast is good, but premium coffee like a cappuccio and a macchiato are available extra charge to your room.
