Location is great, right next to the train station but an easy walk into the Old Town. The staff was great, particularly Mateas. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms quite fancy, and best of all, each room had its own secure wifi password. I'd stay there again in a minute.

Almost nothing. The breakfast wasn't bad, the room was clean, but I guess that's about it.
Location? Overall the location should be excellent, on the island and in the center. In fact, much depends on the footbridge connecting the island to the city. It so happened that many times we had to walk or drive around because the footbridge was raised. Neither in the hotel nor nearby there is any information about this.

Called the Amber Capital of the World, Gdańsk is the major shipping seaport and the most beautiful city along the Polish Baltic coast. It has everything from fascinating history and great architecture to a friendly atmosphere!
Also known as Danzig due to its complex past with periods of Polish, German and self-rule, the city is part of the Tricity urban area together with the port city of Gdynia and the popular spa town Sopot. It’s also a birthplace of the world-famous Solidarity movement, which helped to bring down Communist rule in Poland, initiating the end of the Cold War era.
Its charming buildings were rebuilt in a historical style after the city's near-complete destruction during World War II. You can admire the colorful townhouses of the Old Town by boat on the Motlawa River or by strolling down the popular Long Street and Long Market.
While in Gdańsk, make sure you visit the 15th-century St. Mary’s Church, the largest brick church in Europe, and make a wish at the Neptune Fountain, the city’s patron. While in town, try the legendary local Goldwasser liqueur with 22 karat gold flakes!
Whether you reach Gdańsk by train or plane, Booking.com has a variety of accommodations near the Lech Walesa Airport, the picturesque Old Town or the general city center.
Nice old town to visite on a weekend.
We strongly recommend that you also take a fast train to Sopot which is a lovely little sea town with a very large and beautiful bridge on the sea.
Children will probably love to go on a pirate boat trip but do it when it is warm otherwise you will freeze.
The Amber Museum in Gdansk is absolutely beautiful. Dont miss it.

There is not enough space to say all I want to here.
There is not enough space to say all I want to here. I love Gdansk and everything about it, and if you haven't been there, then WHY ON EARTH NOT?
Go there at once and DON'T just stick to the old town and Dluga street. These are really good, and I love them too (as I do everything). But there is so much more. Day trips galore, great parks, excellent walking, a huge variety of restaurants and cafes, the river, the many miles of wonderful smooth sandy beaches (and the water is NOT always so cold as you might think!)
Gdansk old town for architecture and history.
Gdansk Wrzeszcz for restaurants and cafes.
Gdansk Oliwa for the fabulous Park Oliwskie.
Sopot and Gdynia for additional fun!
Getting around couldn't be easier with trams and buses galore. Using Google Maps to help you, you'll be able to get everywhere.
OMG I totally LOVE THIS PLACE, and every time spent there is full of great things!

The city is very well structured and therefore it's almost impossible to get lost. The architecture is stunning - a mixture of Dutch and German styles gives it a unique look. Walking by the riverside is a beautiful experience, also the beach is not far, about 25 minutes by tram. Many great restaurants offer a wide variety of cuisines to satisfy everyone.

If you hold with the truth that there is no time like the past, then you cannot fail to like it. The Old Town is fascinating. For the first time in a long while, I was time travelling again. Not easy to find a restaurant which is vegetarian-friendly, but worth looking through the windows, first floor elevated or into the basement, at interiors that remind me of the years before WWII. I dined at Liberum, which is competitively priced and comfortable, and then stopped for a pint at a whacky vintage bar called, in English, 'Wardrobe'. I was in transit, so only in Gdansk for one night, but you'd be hard pushed to experience everything exhaustively even if you had a week at your disposal. If you don't go, you won't know!

There are loads of places to see and most people speak English. When booking the accommodation the pictures and views were of the river and in the centre of Old Town but when we arrived we were further out and really had only views of other apartment blocks.

A fairytale city! We moved on foot but also by trams.
A fairytale city! We moved on foot but also by trams. Tickets can be purchased from the kiosks located in the passing tunnels. The center is superb, you can visit King Arthur's Court, St. Mary's Basilica, the Amber Museum, the Golden Gate.
It was quite cold in April, I recommend thicker clothes for Poland regardless of the season and good shoes because there is cubic stone everywhere.
There are many souvenir shops, restaurants, bridges over the water, the port...etc
The food is good and a bit expensive compared to Romania.
On the next visit I would stay longer, there are many places to visit. I also recommend the resort of Sopot, a maximum of 30 minutes by train for the beach and the Baltic Sea.
The hotel is chic and very stylish. The decor is gorgeous in even small details.
The hotel restaurant serves delicious cocktails 🍸 and a nice breakfast with Prosecco 🥂
Our waiter was very nice, quick and polite - and he was the best English speaker among all the hotel employees we met in all of our travels in Poland 🇵🇱
The pool area is gorgeous, but the pool can be crowded sometimes. It’s mostly for play, not for swimming.
It was a pleasant stay overall.
The hotel is not far from the old town, about 20 minutes by feet. It gives you possibility to see another Gdansk, not so innovated but mysterious sometimes.
It was perfectly clean room. And it was very pleasant to find 2 bottles of water in the room. I didn't remember water was incuded in the offer.
The hotel territory is very interesting at all and borders with the old looking catholic church from one side. It was visible from the room window that was unusual.
This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished, and the facilities were comfortable and working flawlessly.
The breakfast was really delicious and with many options, also, different every day.
The hotel location is very good – while it is away from the main streets, everything in the center is very easily accessible by foot.
The front desk is available 24/7 and the staff in general was very kind and helpful.
We had a great time here!! we booked the accomodation last-minute while most places were fully booked (on the same day) and did not really had expectations. The garden is VERY beautiful and the house is impeccably clean. There is a fully equipped kitchen to use. We really felt like home, would reccomend to anyone. It is also very easy to get to the old town, we mostly used Bolt since it is so cheap in Poland, but there are several direct trams taking 15 min
The hotel was easy to reach from both airport and city centre: although located around 3km from the old town, there are good bus connections running regularly. Our room was nice and cozy, with modern touches. Breakfast was alright, many items to choose from though mostly Eastern European flavours. Very friendly staff, they allowed us to leave our luggages at the hotel as our flight was late at night.
The hotel has perfect location, just a few minutes from the Old Town and a tram stop. The breakfast was very good but be aware of long waiting lines around 9 am. Our room was enough for the family of 4. Very nice, modern bathroom with a spacious shower. Also during our stay (long May weekend) there were some animations organised for kids.
The room was nice, well lit and spacious. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom. The hotel is only a few steps away from the old town and the main tourist attractions, but at the same time it's located in relatively quiet area (except for church bells in the morning). There's also a small grocery store just around the corner.
Great location within 15 mintes walking distance to old town. The room was great, had everything you needed and we really liked the industrial and artistic aesthetic of the room and the entire hotel.
The food court on the ground floor had a great variety of restaurants with amazing food.
This will be our go to hotel in Gdansk!
Large hotel with modern facilities. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Ate food one night in the restaurant downstairs and it was good, modern asian fusion style. Hotel is close the the city centre, easily walking distance. Price vs quality was excellent.
The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, so the location couldn't be better! The room was spacious, very clean, included some extra facilities like small refrigerator, kettle etc. Bed was super comfy (if you like bit harder beds).
Staff was very friendly and helpful!
This is the best hostel in Poland.
Because it's an Hotel with dorms. Staff speaks English and were kind and helpful. Great showers and great location and great bed linen. I strongly recommend. There may be cheaper hostels but this one definitely worth the price difference.
Modern hotel. The room was beautiful and comfortable. It has a safe. The hotel has a spa that guests can use for free, though I did not.
Very good breakfast buffet.
It is a few minutes walk from the main street in the old town of Gdansk.
I loved how central the hotel is to everything in the city, it’s clean and well maintained. I felt very safe as a solo traveler and had the best views! The front desk was super helpful in helping me get taxis to and from the airport :)
much cheaper yet much more
spacious compared to other hotels.
good service. enough room to sleep 4
people.
nice apartment. only about a 15 minute
walk to the Gdańsk city center.
had a big balcony (amazing to watch
the sunset!!!)
The location of the hotel is perfect, it lies at the heart of the Old Town with walking distance to everything. It is an old house but very nicely renovated. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had.
Excellent hotel, clean, modern and amazing location with easy access by foot to the beautiful Gdansk city centre! Highly recommended. Also, very spacious apartment. Great leisure facilities.
Best hotel on a 3 week trip from France, through Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark & Sweden & to Poland.
Lovely staff.
