Beautiful property, great location. No street access but the staff was incredibly helpful with our bags and arranging transportation to and from the airport. Short walk along the beach to reach the vanilla beach shops, where you can easily get a trike/taxi. Amazing sunsets every night, the ocean is crystal clear and warm with lots of little fish if you like to snorkel, adorable (& very friendly) dogs all around. Pool is only for hotel guests, which was nice. The restaurants were good with a great selection of drinks- try the pineapple basil daiquiri!- and the breakfast (banana pancakes) was delicious.

Our room was great! It had a great view! The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The Management Trainee was awesome! The pool, albeit small, was a great place to hang out! The food was delicious! We really enjoyed our stay!

Staff are super nice, friendly, the breakfast was really good. Good location only 10 minutes to main El Nido and 5 minutes to Vanilla beach! One can easily rent a scooter from the front desk. Amazing waterfront views, balconies open onto a courtyard overlooking the water. It’s beautiful!

Simply astonishing! Big shout-out to Gigi for taking care of any detail! We were lucky to be in the Honeymoon Suite - the view is simply amazing, the room is gorgeous in every single detail, the breakfast served at the private balcony is delicious and beautifully displayed, the dinners with tables set on the beach are extremely romantic - the decor of the tables is meticulous. The stuff and service is beyond any expectation! The beach is super crowded due to all the "sardines-tour-boats" (mass-tourism tours that arrive from El Nido Town), but the area right in front of Vellago remains private the entire day! The corals are still pretty (not amazing, but nice variety) and we got lucky in spotting monkeys while swimming to the adjacent beach! That was something totally unexpected considering how crowded El Nido area is. It was really hard to leave Vellago and go back to reality!
