This hotel is remarkable. Idiosyncratic and a delightful change from corporate style hotels. Unless you love the difference this is not for you. Rooms are small but how much space do you need to sleep? bicycle storage was good. The owners have their own style and it permeates the whole hotel. The breakfast was first class. I noticed how cheerful the staff were and that the guests laughed a lot. A one off place.

Excellent breakfast, good value for money. Location is short walk from station and downtown. Our room was fine, very clean and quiet at night. Easy short train ride on to visit Enkhuizen outdoor museum.
Interesting city. It’s domestic architecture is varied and thoughtful. Nearly fields and grazing cattle and sheep provide a rural feel. Nearby cities and villages offer interesting public buildings (churches, civic buildings), and the dikes and canals are intriguing. We did not meet many people, but those we did are friendly and enjoye talking about their city and their country.
The place was beautiful and peaceful in a beautiful village
Celine was helpful and kind and the dinner in hotels restaurant prepared by Ben was the best we could have for our first day! Hope to visit again soon.
