Bel Jou Adults Only - All Inclusive, hotel in Castries

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Bel Jou Adults Only - All Inclusive offers accommodations in Castries.

The star of the show for this all inclusive is hands down the staff and the food. Oh wait, and the entertainment. The staff are genuinely happy to help you, are so friendly, and really make you smile as soon as you see them. The food was delicious! For one vegetarian and two pescatarians, there was SO much to eat at breakfast lunch and dinner. I was honestly blown away by all the vegetarian options!! The entertainment….oh my gosh. If you can schedule your trip so you are there on a Thursday for carribean night, you will not regret it at all!!! They had an incredible fire/dance show which was just as good or BETTER as cirque du soleil shows! This hotel is a gem, you don’t want to miss it!

    Busy, crowded and impoverished.

Busy, crowded and impoverished. Its a shame for the people there, tourism is all they have and they are getting priced out of their own home. Basic grocery shopping trip costs a fortune, locals are getting a raw deal. Heart breaking to see.

I was expecting a bit more from capital city.

I was expecting a bit more from capital city. Rodney bay and Gros Islet were more interesting to me. Church is beautiful and centrál market is great place to get some local vibe. Vigie beach is nice and easily reachable by walk from city centre (approx 20mins walk). Bus stops are frequent but a bit challenging to get out on right one if you have no idea where you should get out (locals are quite supportive to help).

This apartment is just North of the Castries City so you are close enough for a small ride to the center but not so close for the congestion that comes with city life. This apartment location is a short taxi ride to Rodney Beach and Gros Islet (North) at low cost. Same applies for Castries Market (another tourist spot). Soufriere is a bit further of a ride but still a great day trip by taxi. Longest ride is to-from the airport. Highest taxi fare $75.00 from airport to Apartment. Depending on what you are looking for "independence and self exploration" STAY HERE .. or complete pamper, get me a drink and sit on beach all day don't care about expense stay at an All Inclusive on the island. This stay is for the adventurers who want to see everything at their own pace, on their own time Meals- Kitchen and cookware provided - If you are missing something just ask.. They will have it and get it to you (I know- I asked for a toaster and got one within minutes was brand new too .. Getting around - Real easy IF you can climb up and down steep hills. If not, use a taxi, they will come to your front door and take you anywhere you want to go. They can be hired by the short trip A-B; Hired for the day; Hired for the week; Excursions booked on internet sites will come get you here as well.. (Viator) (TripAdviser, etc)

Pink Plantation House made Castries special for us.

Pink Plantation House made Castries special for us. Transportation by taxi was necessary as the roads are too steep for more than a couple miles of walking (we’re 75). Younger people would do better.

Castries itself is not much to look at, mostly a nice local market and a tourist trap for the large cruise ships. Rodney Bay just north of Castries is the yachie centre but also a little bit of America for tourists. Watch out for the roads, hire something decent.

Stunning location with idyllic sea view. The highlight of the trip was definitely the day trips provided by Moses! The kitchen facilities are suitable for cooking for a family. Good value for money when you consider the price of nearby resorts. There is a nearby bus stop, although this can take time as many buses fill quickly so won’t stop. The owner kindly drove us to the supermarket for us to do some shopping upon arrival. He also provided us with other needed essentials when asked and was always available via WhatsApp.

We had an enjoyable stay at Memwa Villa. We were welcomed by Kyle, Luciana’s son, who answered all our questions about the neighborhood and the nearby beaches. The welcome drink was delicious. The apartment was super clean and bright - loved the windows! The bed was comfortable, a/c worked well and everything was great. We were glad for the beach towels! The apartment is about 10 mins drive from Castries. It was great staying at Luciana’s place and wonderful to meet her family. We recommend her apartment highly.

Judah, the host was very helpful and accommodating for our short but sweet stay, passing through the Castries area. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony, a hot powerful shower and an amazing nights sleep in a very comfy bed after watching a movie on Netflix! There’s a convenient small supermarket, a bakery and also a bar / grill just a stones throw away.

This was the friendliest and most supportive host I ever encountered. I arrived very late on a sunday evening and had booked the transfer as well. On the way to the place I was treated to a quick tour around the most important spots in Castries. The place itself is beautiful and well maintained. Bus stop is just a few meters away. I wish I had booked for longer!

The all-inclusive meals were very good. Full 3 course sit down meals. The location was great, short 5 minute walk to the beach. The hotel has a deal with some of the guys on the beach so that guests have a chair and umbrella ready for them. The hotel also supplies you with a cooler full of your choice of drinks for every beach trip which was a great touch.

The value was good: several hundred dollars less than the other resorts. The staff was pleasant on some occasions and the meals were very good for an all-inclusive. We got the sense that there were a lot of repeat guests that knew the drill (bring your own water bottle and necessities, don't leave the resort, etc) and really enjoyed the hotel.

the whole resort is lovely. staff were beyond excellent and the residents were lovely too. plenty of stuff going on, and staff were more than happy to help book excursions and taxis etc. it is however probably slightly quieter than some other larger resorts (if you’re looking for that kind of thing) but that’s what I enjoyed about it

The only thing that was good about this hotel was the friendly staff. They had a nice touch of offering prosecco on arrival and the location is good, 5 min walk to the beach and the strip to where all the bars and clubs are. When the food did arrive it was good but then you were just soo furious that you had to wait 2 hours.
