The room was as expected but the service was the bste and deserves 10 stars by itself! They exchanged money for us and when I forgot my phone during the trip at another city/hotel, they made sure that I got it back and picked it up for me at the bus station, after 5 days (!)

The room was very comfortable. In particular the A/C worked well. The breakfast was good Most of all the manager was exceptional helping me plan and organise my trip. The location is good. The fancier hotels are in a more central location but I actually preferred the restaurants along the river here. It is slightly less touristy. It does mean a few extra minutes walk but that's a reasonable trade off, and it's still very close to the night market.

The garden is magnificent. It is so nice to enjoy good food or a drink while looking at it. It's only 5 minutes by tuk tuk to get in town center. It's also possible to get there using bicycle provided by the hotel for free. It's a little heaven where you can relax after a day visiting Luang Prabang.

The breakfast was fantastic. I am partially disabled from recent surgery and the reception staff went out of their way to make me comfortable, fed and happy. The room was super clean, enabling me to clean my wounds without concerns. The hot water showers were so satisfying. The Laotian people are so warm, inviting and respectful.
