The carpet looked clean and the bed was clean and comfortable enough. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. There was no hot water pot in the room but there was a coffee and tea service in the lobby.
The room we booked was smoking, even though we don't smoke, since it was all that was available, but this was endurable, since the window was thankfully able to open wide to allow fresh air into the room and remove the strong cigarette odor. The large window also provided a pleasant view of the quiet street and cityscape below, as well as plenty of natural light.

Loved the location from Air Force base nice size room with 3 beds with great amenities, loved everything aside from hard bed but we’re in Japan so that’s expecting from most places I’ve been.

The hotel is very well-located. Just across the street you reach the Akigawa station and a family mart which has ATM machine. The bus stop and taxi stand is just right in front of the hotel. Walking one block away (5mins), you can find Tokyu Mall with supermarket, McDonald and Daiso. The neighbourhood is nice and there are many places for eating out.

The host Lucy was waiting for us when we arrived, she gave us keys and a tour of the guest house. It was clean, spacious and everything was there that we needed. When we had a couple questions the host answered promptly. There is a coin laundry on the corner and a 7-11. Also just one block away is a coffee house that serves a wonderful pancake breakfast and a full service grocery store next to that had plenty of ready made food.
