Excellent location - 3 min walk from SMN train station, < 10 min from Duomo. Our initial room was facing a busy street and it was noisy at night. The staff graciously moved us into a room facing the courtyard

Short walk from train station. Small room but cozy enough for a short stay.
Great value for the price. The room was very unique and spacious. The staff was great, the hotel owner even came to our room at midnight to kill a spider we saw. It is quite far from the city center of Florence, however, a bus comes every 20 minutes or so to a nearby bus stop. The views were amazing, the only negative was the distance to Florence.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city - but only a single bus ride away. 3 times an hour through the day.
Fairly tranquil village, traditional in the best sense. A couple of bar/cafe/restaurant options - but limited. Pharmacy, Deli, no nightclubs - yay!
