I love the quiet of the apartment. It is the only one on this floor. No banging of doors or loud voices late at night and early morning. It is clean and comfortable and very central with a lovely restaurant downstairs 2 doors away. Teresa was very helpful and easy to acces when I had questions. She even got my clothes organized to be washed by lovely Sara. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay.
Set between 2 rolling hills in the heart of the Val D’Orcia Valley, Agriturismo Selvella is a renovated Tuscan country house offering typical rustic rooms and a summer pool. Radicofani is 3 km away.

warm welcome, the pool, the room, the location !!!! lovely house !!!
Highly recommend Casa San Francesco!!
I were deeply touched by the host’s warmth and hospitality during my visit❤️ They filled me the encourage to explore the life in Italy!! I never felt this kindness in foreign land! Ti voglio bene😘😘😘
This hotel was a disappointment in almost every way imaginable.
First, the few good points. The hotel is well located if you’re walking the Via Francigena. It’s close to a decent Alimentare and a number of good restaurants. Our room had a large balcony with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. If you’re inclined to the sweet flavour profile of the classic Italian breakfast there’s offers a very generous array of cakes, crostadas, and brioche (*the cappuccino was just OK).
The location and staff are nice just like the room and its equipment. Everything is there to have a comfortable rural Italian holiday. It was very warm at night but the staff arranged for a fan which was a great service! Swimming pool is very nice and beautiful views.
Radicofani is a cute charming village not very touristy so that was nice and authentic. The surroundings are not the most beautiful side of the Val d'Orcia however.
The apartment is in the historic centre of Radicofani very close to shops and restaurants and the Via Francigena. Check-in was smooth and even earlier than announced. The views from the windows are pretty - one side of the valley the other one of Rocca Radicofani. There was a little kitchen with all the equipment, fridge, fan and hanging rack. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom nice and clean. Highly recommended.
We loved everything about this apartment! It is well laid out and beautifully appointed. The location has spectacular views and is an uphill walk or easy drive into the incredible medieval Tuscan town of Radicofani. The outdoor space is a great place to hang out at all times of the day. The caretakers were extremely nice and made exceptional efforts to be sure we were comfortable.
The view from my room, and the little terrace, was amazing. Panoramic over the hills surrounding Radicofani. The room itself was fine, if a little dated. Lovely to have a bath, to soak my aching legs whilst cycling from Canterbury to Rome.
It was peaceful, virtually silent, and the staff were very friendly even if no English was spoken, we still managed to communicate.
Great location in the middle of the old town but extremely overpriced compared to similar places we stayed in in nearby towns (Buonconvento, Acquapendente apartments of similar level cost €65-75 for the same type of accommodation). IT WAS NOT THE PLACE PICTURED. Convenient check in with lockbox.
The location is great - Radicofani is a beautiful village. The apartment was clean and had everything one needs - except a kettle for those who might like tea - the gas stove and a metal jug does work too so not really necessary. Tina was very reachable via WhatsApp which was great.
A convenient stay for us on our cycling trip, close to the main street for restaurants. The owner was very helpful and friendly, couldn’t do enough to make things work for us - it was not a problem to store our bikes inside. Breakfast was basic but plentiful.
The apartment is really cute and located next to a lovely little plaza in the old centre of Radicofani. Even though we didn’t speak the same language we were cordially received by the host and our check-in/-out went smooth and no questions were left open.
We had a 5 course evening meal every night with local and regional wines which was superb. The staff are all very friendly and Marina (the owner) sets a lovely tone with her enthusiasm for her surroundings, food and all her animals!
This was a very nice apartment to stay in Radicofani. Nice and cosy interior. Very good location in town close to restaurants and bakery. Was one of our favourite places to stay in Italy.
We stayed here overnight on the Via Francigenia. Comfortable room and bed. Host is very welcoming. Breakfast is simple with good coffee. Straightforward two-star hotel.
