I would like to say that Karbala is a special city for Shia which are interested in Imam Hosain and would like to go to his shrine.
For non religious people there are modern parts of the city that could be interested to go for shopping and such cases.
Very attentive staff and great facilities and services. The Dur Kahmiya Palace Hotel is location was perfect because It's near Holy Shrine of Imam Hossain and AL -Harith mall and Access for bus was easy. we enjoyed our stay. would happily rebook this hotel again. The rooms had the necessary equipment and nicely designed room. Breakfast and other food was excellent and delicious. Hot bread was for breakfast and other meals.
The location was good but there was not like hotel the whole building was not like passage and market . Lots of noise people singing in midnight in groups and kids running in the corridor playing with lifts doing football infront of our door our complaints did not make any difference. The staff smoking all the times in corridor and reception and they were very unfriendly.
The staff was amazing, good hospitality and amazing team that served our need whenever we want.
the room was clean and properly presented with all the facilities mentioned in the description of the room.
Everything is good and the hotel is near Imam Abbas’s Shrine, like 9 minutes walking
Excellent customer service and absolutely fantastic selection of foods. This is by far the best hotel in Iraq so far. Top floor you have shisha lounge!
Ask for the Syrian omelette from Ayad (the best chief in Iraq) and ask for Ibrahim if you would like to try gum shisha.
The staff were kind and helpful especially bagher who spoke persian and was kind rooms were clean the service was totally good distance to haram is a little far in comparision with other hotels (about 13 minute walk ) and they didnt have a shuttle
I had multiple stays at Rayhan Hotel in Karbala via Booking.com and am pleased with the hotel. The facilities are consistently improving, which is great. The only downside is Ms. Setayesh's unpleasant behavior towards guests.
The hotel itself was nice and clean, and the shuttle service to the shrines ran perfectly, departing every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day. The swimming pool service was also good and well-maintained.
Everyone, including the general manager of the hotel were amazing and very welcoming. The facilities were very clean and spacious.
The rooms are very nice and comfortable and clean beds
The room and specifically the bathroom was so dirty it didn’t worth the money we paid although the staff was very nice and friendly but it wasn’t like a 5 star hotel at all
So I could not stay in hotel due to extra delays by the airport staff to issue visa, I had very short time but hotel staff was extremely cooperative and helping.
