It was nicely done in every way! The entry area was spacious and comfortable, my room was big and quiet, and the restaurant had good food.

Location close to Dublin Airport (maybe 4 Kms). In a nice small town with places to eat including the hotel site (where I had a nice meal), pubs nearby, even historic castle ruins a short distance away.

The location of the hotel was exceptional! It was close to the harbor, with lovely views, but also very walkable to town and a bit longer walk to the Malahide Castle and Gardens. I loved the covered parking, where I could ditch the car and explore Malahide on foot. The room was quiet and comfortable, the bathroom was exquisite (and sparkling clean). The reception area and lobbies were calm, serene, and beautifully decorated. Finally, breakfast was fantastic, with kind, attentive staff, and a ton of options to choose from. Finally, the Dublin airport was a quick, easy, toll-free drive from the hotel, making that the icing on the cake!
Lovely location by the sea you definitely need a car.
Lovely location by the sea you definitely need a car. Food a bit on dear side especially for children's meals. Very friendly area. Fantastic beach walks great areas in hotel to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quietness and recharge the battery's.

We arrived at 8:30pm to the hotel.
We arrived at 8:30pm to the hotel. Went downstairs for dinner and it was 9:03 - The restaurant in the hotel was closed and would not serve us. The receptionist told us the village of Donabate had some Take Away places - so we hopped in the car and drove in - 5 minutes. We found a great Italian Place and had a nice meal. Luckily they were open. Same parking lot as the Supervalu - We also shopped there. Nice, very cute little village.
Location was excellent. Truly a hotel on the beach. Beautiful views regardless of the weather. Stayed in garden rooms which were fantastic to have access directly to terrace. Would definitely return with my children. Staff were so friendly and very attentive.. especially at breakfast. Found the over night Price very good value for money. We thought we would have to go to swords/malahide for some music but the karaoke session in the lounge was perfect and we stayed put for the night
Stayed in old part of hotel, in serious need of a revamp...carpets along hallway looks dirty and in need of change...teapots in restaurant all need to be replaced, food in restaurant really needs to be looked at , had fish and chips and would definitely say I have had better from local choppy in donabate......one thing the hotel has going for it is the staff, so friendly and would do anything to make your stay comfortable...
The location is fantastic, right beside and above Donabate beach with a large terrace. The food is great and the staff very friendly.
There are also comfortable places available indoors and a cozy library corner.
We mentioned that we were staying there for our wedding anniversary and hours later were surprised after dinner with a lovely plate of small desserts and Prosecco which was simply lovely.
Every aspect of the hotel is beautiful. The dining area is designed to perfection. The food was PHENOMENAL. The staff couldn’t have been any friendlier or helpful. We booked a room with a view of the beach and I suggest it to everyone considering staying here. The view of the beach was breathtaking and I can honestly say I’ve never slept on a more comfortable hotel bed.
We had such a lovely stay at the Shoreline hotel. Beautiful hotel in a lovely location - steps away from the beach!! Ideal for young families & beach lovers!! The staff were exceptional & we were made feel welcome from the moment we checked in with the wonderful receptionist to the moment we checked out. A wonderful stay, we really recommend it.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is lovely and the staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were extremely comfortable and very clean. The value was amazing, three of us stayed including dinner and breakfast for less than 200euro.
I would definitely return again and ask for a room with a sea view.
Location of hotel is just amazing, it makes up for everything else. Gorgeous quirky little coffee Dock outside where u can sit and enjoy your coffee overlooking the sea. We were lucky enough to be there in the last glorious heatwave at end of August so we thoroughly enjoyed the beach and surrounding area
great location very convenient place to stay the night before traveling from the Dublin Airport. 15 minutes to rental car return, Great location right on a very walkable beach and great ocean views, On site restaurant was excellent and friendly staff,
Close to the airport yet felt like a holiday hotel. The staff was very friendly (reception and dining room). The food was good. We managed a lovely walk on the beautiful beach on a sunny morning before catching our flight out of Dublin.
The seaview from the room, absolutely marvellous. Also a nice outside terrace in from of the restaurant area, looks all nice and cozy. The beach next to the hotel, also very nice. Nice food in the restaurant.
Great location. Right on the beach and adjacent to a scenic walking path, easy and quick drive to rental car return at the Dublin airport. Comfortable and quiet room. Good breakfast choices.
No money could buy the view however the whole hotel could do with a revamp- staff were lovely but the food was beyond poor.
Would return tomorrow for the view but not for the hotel 😭
