The apartment was very large with comfortable sofas and lots of sitting space. Great large balcony overlooking town square of Sami but quiet and private. Close to markets & restaurants. Bonus roof top sitting area with view as well. Nice kitchen area. Could have definitely stayed longer!

Sami gave me what I wanted, small, quiet resort but with plenty of restaurants, cafes and a few shops/ bakeries. Fatto a Mano has the best spanikopita! Scenery was beautiful, harbour very pretty. Good middle base for visiting all parts of Kefalonia, right near Melisanni and Drogarati caves. Sami centre has lots of nice restaurants. Adonis was our favourite. Great beach Antisamos is nearby. Myrtos beach about 25 mins away in car. Showers on beach a nice touch. Pretty private coves, good snorkelling, clear turquoise waters. Sami is the main ferry port so is ideal for access to other islands. There is no beach only a narrow stretch of shingle There are numerous Tavernas along the harbour edge which are very pleasant and enable watching of the boats.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Sami is a great place to stay. Lots of great cafes and restaurants by the harbour. Lovely views. Good beaches and lots to explore nearby if you have a car. The hotel was great, very helpful host, comfortable room with great views, parking, near the harbour and ferry port.

We visited 3 locations over a 3 week stay
We visited 3 locations over a 3 week stay Lassi, Skala then Sami, to have a base to to explore Kefalonia easier. Which we feel worked out perfectly. Sami was great, we hired a Boat from 'Compass Renta boat' on two occasions - very nice people - would 100% recommend them. Used the boat to visit Ithaki.

Sami was a perfect base for North if the Island . Alancia Suites are perfect . Plenty of places to eat and drink . Supermarkets were good . Places to hire cars, bikes etc . Lovely walks along promenade and marina Local beaches pebbled but lovely .clean and plenty of space . More popular beaches close by .MarieUnited Kingdom

This place has all you could need for an amazing stay in the beautiful town of Sami. Easy access and great communication from the owner added to one of our best stays. With plenty of fresh towels and linen brought to the apartment every few days, we highly rate this place in every way. With beaches, taxis, shops, ferries, restaurants, and one of the best cake shops , this place is a perfect holiday stay.

Everything was very clean, a little old round the edges but a perfect site to walk to small beach or the cafes and restaurants/shops. Sami has everything you need for a nice holiday and Antisamos was 10 mins by car for a great beach with facilities. Was useful to have a car and parking was free and available outside apartment. Good, well cleaned, well furnished and functional rooms, with all the greek-styled windows shades, balcony doors and all the rest 🙂 But the best part is the host, Memi (Themis' mother) - the greatest host we've met so far (not only in Greece, but overall)! The location, in Sami, close to it's small port an marina, is great for Kefalonia - kind of in the middle of all the sites, with every corner of this big island within 1 hour driving reach.

It’s a nice quiet spot with easy, close access to everything in town. Street parking is right outside the apartment and across the street is a great supermarket with everything you may need for your stay. Access to the apartment is easy and quick with extremely helpful owners and staff. We would definitely stay here again!
