Barbati is a small quiet resort with only a few shops, restaurants, cafes etc. It is the first of the smaller resorts going North from Corfu town after the far busier looking Ipsos and Dassia. It is quite high above the beach which is lovely. We went in April so many facilities were closed. buses to Corfu town and Kassiopi are infrequent and irregular. A taxi is about 50 euros to Corfu Town. The road is narrow, windy and busy so although a car would be ideal you need to be a confident driver. The locals are very friendly and helpful. A few words of Greek is appreciated (Please, thank you etc) but not essential especially for English speakers.

5 minute walk to the beach which is wonderful with restaurant & bar, pebble beach . Very steep hill and the access is through a secured gate. Not a full length pool but good enough and views to the sea from pool, lounge balcony and bedroom upstairs. The villa is on 3 levels, Fantastic equipped kitchen and bathrooms are good with plenty of showers. Beds are rather hard so would benefit from a topper mattress. Agathi lovely, at the end of the phone and texts regularly. Layout is such that there are two sets of twin beds only suitable for children, below stairs there’s a large studio /gym/table tennis and either or twin beds with two bathrooms with pool view. Beautifully appointed villa. Restaurants in walking distance are fab with a small pub with lively music and great service. 2 mini markets and coffee cafe and bakery. Best restaurant is The Starlight plus Cariatides. Poor restaurant was Lord Byron, tasteless food and poor service.

Great spot on Corfu, one of the best beaches in my opinion. Not much in the actual township compared to some of the other townships but we were there to just be lazy and hang out at the beach. Loved every minute.

Beuatiful beach near by. Beautiful surrounding.

Beuatiful beach near by. Beautiful surrounding. Not too much facilities around the property. The nearest shop is located on the main road, it wasn't safe to walk to there, there is no sidewalk. Barbati doesn't have a walking promenade. The nearest was in Ypsoss. The bar on the beach offered nice entertainment in the evening.

Located with the sea on one side and the mountain on the other, Barbati has pebble beaches, clear water, nice restaurants. Is not far from the capital and is a very good starting point when you want to move around the island.

Despite having a limited impression of Corfu, having only been there for 4-5 days, we explored much of the island with a rental car. Our takeaway was that it's hard to go wrong in Corfu. The whole island is beautiful and has something to offer for everyone. I did find Barbati particularly charming, however, because it had a laid back village feel with an amazing beach while still being close to Corfu City. It has a few great restaurants, a grocery store, tourist shops, and a bus stop. If you want a fully serviced resort experience, this will be too rustic for you, but great if you want a relaxed, unpretentious, good value for money holiday. I wish I had more time on my trip to spend a whole day lounging around the beach that was just a few steps away from my accommodation!

The family apartment is exactly as in the pictures - a spacious living room with a kitchenette, a cosy bedroom and an absolutely stunning view to the sea and Corfu town in the distance over the bay. Everything was tidy and a cleaning lady was coming multiple times during our 6 days stay to sweep the floor and leave clean sheets. We were there during a heatwave, so the air conditioning was indispensable and it was working properly. The staff was very polite and friendly, too. The pool is surprisingly big and well kept.

The property is in a quiet area 20 min from Kerkyra( Corfu), on the street there are plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets where you can buy food and drinks. The rooms are small but have everything you need for your stay. A fully equipped kitchen, a big bed with separate mattresses and the best thing they all have a small balcony where you can eat and look at the sea. The staff is very nice and always helpful. One very nice thing is that each room comes with a bag with clean sea towels.

Nicely kept property. Pretty vegetation around. Beautiful views on the sea in the front and mountains on the back. Clean rooms, kitchen and bathroom. Comfy beds. The units have everything you need. Cute clean pool with warm water. Free parking for the guests. Extremely nice and helpful owner - George; gave us a ride to the beach on the first day, arranged a taxi to pick us up on our way to the airport, and we got many advices from him on different stuff.

This apartment is on the upper level of the house. The location is excellent. The house is in the first row of villas and is just a few steps from a wonderful Barbati beach. The terrace with sea view, accessible from the living room and one of the bedrooms, is great. There is no individual pool (as advertised) but we didn’t mind as the beach is so close. This was our favorite spot on the island. We had an excellent stay and hope to be back!

Good communication with the host previous to the arrival. The rooms were big and clean. The terrace was the cherry on the cake as the view was spectacular. The kids loved the pool (which had really warm water). As there are 2 parking lots ,no issue with the car. Close to the apartment there are 2 pebble and rock wild beaches .if you want beach with sunbeds and taverna then main one in Barbati is the one. Highly recommend this place

Very clean, no bugs, excellent location. very friendly and communicative hosts. Beach is less than 100m away - with multiple locations providing chair + umbrella sets, but there also is a set at the apartment. 200m to water sports. Multiple good restaurants within walking distance. Very good coffe at Coffee Lovers. The beach is a pebble beach that gets deep fast (we liked it, but mileage will vary)

The place is nice and quiet, away from the main road and bars. Georgia was very helpful, she gave us great tips for what to do in Corfu and how to get around and even booked a taxi for us when we needed it last minute. There is a great restaurant on the main road just down the hill from the place. You can explore the island using local bus service, which is great.

We loved our stay in this special aparthotel and we loved exploring Corfu by bus. Many thanks to the family. We didn't want to leave.

The place is CLEAN with everyday service. The breakfast is very good and well organized. Location - close to a bus station and 10min away (by foot) from Barbati Beach. The hotel is not on first line, you have to climb a short steep street, but every room has a sea view.

Location is excellent - you are right on the beach, view from the balcony is amazing, especially at night - you can see the whole bay. Rooms are placed in an olive grove, that give an excellent shade during the day and especially pleasant atmosphere in the evening.
