This property was the best I have ever stayed at! It was honestly 10 / 10.
The design of the buildings and how they all sit together on the site, is a stroke of genius. Great Architecture.
Things like the tasteful colour pallet, the choice of materials and the attention to detail, were a modern delight. Internal lighting / plunge pool / full kitchen / double height space and electric blinds were just some of the many fantastic touches. (even the back lit logo on the gate was genius)!
If that's not enough, the owners are lovely people and the breakfast was superb!
Also proximity to the bay and restaurants was great.
I can't recommend this place enough! We will go back for sure.

From the moment we arrived, Litsa welcomed us with a very warm smile and made us feel like home, also informing us about all we needed to know. Our room was exactly as shown in the photos, traditional but with good facilities, a good toilet, comfortable bed, a small but functional kitchen, a well isolated balcony door and a nice balcony with an amazing view. Absolutely recommended. Thanks a lot Litsa for making our stay so pleasant.

Brilliant location and so comfortable all round. Everyone was so welcoming and warm and friendly. Thank you to Manoulis for the wonderful welcome and also to the beautiful lady who gave us one of her gardenias from her garden . The pots of basil and the gardenias in bloom were a beautiful welcome. Breakfast was perfect! Highly recommend and hope we can return one day.

Truly lovely, a highlight of our trip to Kefalonia. We were lucky enough to visit Asos for the night with glorious weather in the middle of May 2024. Tucked away off the main road Asos is definitely worth visiting. The castle is a 30 minute walk up if you’re fit (not 1.6 kms like some reviews suggest, more like 2.5kms I’d say) the walk is worth it for the views on the way but the castle grounds aren’t very special (history on a board would be good). No mind the walk is worth it. Go to Asos to relax and enjoy the ambience and the pretty beach. 🇦🇺

Avoid Estiatorio Platanos, Restaurant Platanos. Large American or Canadian man running this place with lots of blah blah. It's such a shame that his food isn't as good as his chat, and as large too. Terrible portions, small plates, high prices for what you get and he doesn't care, as long as he gets your money Read the reviews on other sites. He doesn't like Greeks in his restaurant because they see his scams. AVOID.

STUNNING little town with a chilled and relaxing vibe. Without a doubt, the best town to stay on Kefalonia. Asos is in a great location, relative to all the beautiful beaches and small towns in the north of the island. Asos has 2 well stocked mini marts, a bakery and a couple of nice restaurants. We rented a boat for the day through Conteco Rent a Boat, and explored all the coves and beautiful beaches around the Asos area. That was day to remember! The walk up to the Asos castle ruins is easy to navigate on a wide path and takes about 30 mins. Once up there, you are afforded the most amazing views back over the town and the towering cliffs. You dont need a car when you are in Asos, but you definitely need a car if you are planning on exploring the island. The roads are very winding but everywhere you go the views are stunning! Not only is Asos a stunning town - offering picture-perfect photos at every corner - but the people are wonderful and welcoming too. Can highly recommend the bakery! Good range of restaurants. Wonderful walks. Amazing scenery. Stunning swimming spots. Brilliant vistas! I would move there in a shot if I could!!! We used Kefalonia Taxis for all our transfers - was so stress free not having to worry about transport. And we hired a boat for a day which was great for exploring to majestic beaches you can’t get to by road.

Asos is a stunningly pretty little village. We wanted tranquility and relaxation - and it certainly delivered that. There are beautiful views all around the village and a walk up to the castle is definitely worth doing. The beach is pebbly but the sea is calm and clear so was ideal for swimming. The town is very quiet so may not suit everyone and a car is essential if you want to explore more of the island as there is no public transport from Asos. But we were content with what it had to offer and we ate incredibly well across four of the village's five food outlets with groceries from the two well-stocked mini marts.JustineUnited Kingdom

We visited one week before the summer season started so not many local restaurants were open. Our host was kind enough to offer to cook an incredible 3 course meal and serve it to us on our balcony overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend. Perfect for a long weekend and having a car is a good idea to visit beaches and towns outside of Asos. Thankfully this property also has parking :)AshleeAustralia

Gorgeous terrace area for a lovely breakfast, beautiful pool and amazing sunset views from this area. All of the rooms also face this direction and have some balcony area which is really lovely. The inside was clean and spacious. We appreciated the nearby parking as well. This is a 5 minute walk to the town's center with several cute shops and restaurants to choose from. Also a close drive to Myrtos beach was perfect as well.

We loved just sitting looking out at the sea, the sun and the moon. The apartment is very centrally located and very handy to get to the beaches, car parks and the marina itself. The hosts are the nicest people ever and very very friendly. Just 3/4 restaurants to eat out in Asos - a nice bakery and a couple of small shops. Upgraded to a superior room at another date and I didn’t think it could get better but it was one of the prettiest stays I’ve ever had. 360 views of the best of asos. Big bathroom, lovely room. Great location - literally a minute away from the main areas to get food and drinks and the beach. Lovely outside area too with a pool and hammock and all this for a great price!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking nearby which is free but limited, it gets less busy at night when tourists from other towns leave. You have to stay here. The owner Tasos was very friendly, courteous and he very graciously allowed us the use of the big pool. Every studio has its own pool but the bigger apartment has a larger pool. Tasos gave us good restaurant tips. The location of Throisma is super: you can walk to Asos beach and village. Asos is a beautiful village and we can heartily recommend a stay at Throisma!
