Me and my partner had the most wonderful stay! Everything was perfect - especially the bed as it was super comfortable! Would definitely come back again.

Ringwood was the ideal spot to visit the New Forest and surrounds. The Moors Valley Country Park is a five minute drive away. You could spend a full two days here, there is so much to do.
You can also visit Paultons Park which is 30 mins drive or Beaulieu which is also 30 minutes away. It is only 20 mins drive to the south coast beaches.
Ringwood has good amenities - supermarket etc.

Ringwood is a nice little village, with several cafes and restaurants. It is well situated for making trips around the countryside, but a bit close to a very large road (=traffic noise). There is not much to do in Ringwood itself (we visited family there)

Ringwood is a mix of chocolate box and modern.
Ringwood is a mix of chocolate box and modern. Huge choice of eating options from everyday to extraordinary. some "sourdough" places Frampton's and Bake House 24 and more everyday like café Aroma all three were great. the hospitality in every restaurant or Pub we visited was spot on.
Masala Indian take away also highly recommended.
The Cellar really cool, great vibe on a Friday night.
Pubs! The Railway and the Elm Tree also recommended for food and Beer.
Ringwood Brewery also worth a visit.
It's a great base for walks down the Avon but beware if the river is high it will be wet.
The Castleman Trail way is just south of the town and offers easy access on foot to the New Forest both North and South.
If you have a Car then I recommend the Rose and Thistle in Rockbourne. A brilliant base for walks in stunning country side.

The dislikes staff no attentive enough restraint closed at7 30 on a Saturday you had to find and ask for cutlery napkins at breakfast time did not like the fact you had spare furniture in room ie spare fold up bed room very cruddy not clean staff to young didn’t basically care about us guests room in my opinion only worth £50,00 per night
The host, Sue, was friendly and accommodating. She helped us out whenever we needed and introduced us to her lovely animals. The hamper filled with goodies blew us away, and the prosecco and beers were delightful. The room was cosy and romantic. We loved the chimenea outdoors and had it going every evening. There's nothing better than sipping a glass of prosecco with the fire going, watching the sunset! The location was great and was a short drive to most nearby towns. If you want a true New Forest experience, this is the place to stay!
A wonderful B&B where Mark & Sabine are friendly and accommodating. The location is great for both New Forest activities and easy access to many beautiful beaches and coastal walks. The rooms are roomy with very comfortable super king beds and the ensuite bathrooms are luxurious with everything you could need for a enjoyable stay. The breakfast is out of this world with fresh fruit, freshly baked goods and hot breakfast options - what a fantastic couple of days. We would return without hesitation - thank you Mark & Sabine!!
A welcome breakfast pack was great including some fruit. Washing up liquid, cloth, sponge and tea towel were also supplied. We loved the location being half hour from Poole and very close to the New Forest for cycling and walking. We had a secure area to leave our bikes. Our hosts were very hospitable and welcoming. We used the very local farm shop. We had wonderful weather during our stay and enjoyed opening the patio doors, sitting and eating outside overlooking the garden and paddock beyond.
I loved the location right in the new forest. Very peaceful and good for local walks.
The Inn has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the beams and the open fire and the lovely large beer garden.
The room was very cosy just slightly away from the main Inn in a self contained building which ensures that it is lovely and quiet.
Nice ensuite with a good shower. The furnishings were very good quality and very comfortable.
The food was very good with some vegetarian options.
The studio was extremely comfortable making for an enjoyable overnight stay. The tables and chairs provided in the garden and the BBQ are a bonus, We were most impressed by the owners who contacted us soon after we had left as we had inadvertently left a jacket in the wardrobe. By that time we were well on our way home, so they arranged to post it back to us. Great service!
Huge room, fresh and clean, with a restaurant and bar downstairs, which were both reasonably priced - the food was very good too. Very good staff. Free parking and high street location. The price! Minutes from the New Forest and less than half the cost of other hotels nearby.
Everything. Lovely spacious and clean apartment, great location and base for exploring the New Forest and nearby coast. Lovely country park, pub and a shop all within walking distance. Tracy was a fabulous host and was just a quick message away if we needed anything.
Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Helpful friendly staff. Room had a walkway outside where I could stand and smoke. The town of Ringwood and the variety of restaurants and shops. Enjoyed the market day. Short distance to the New Forest and coast.
The building looks amazing from the outside. We loved some of the old features, beams and doors etc. And Ringwood is a lovely village with plenty of choice regards, pubs and restaurants. Location is quite good to enjoy the surrounding area.
perfect location on the edge of the new forest and in close proximity to Ringwood. Wendy was lovely and made sure our stay was perfect. The accommodation is spacious and very relaxing. Would definitely return for another stay.
Everything was perfect and Martine couldn't have done enough for us. Heater provided to keep Dolly warm as the weather was particularly cold over the time we stayed.
Perfect location on the edge of the New Forest.
Shetland Cottage was perfect for our 3 night autumn stay. Very well equipped, clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely location close to the New Forest and the coast. We would highly recommend this cottage.
The location is amazing. Right in the heart of the New Forest, we even saw a new foal being born. Wild horses all around. The staff here are friendly and the service is great.
Location was convenient for shops but very noisy at bed time. Didn't have breakfast because I wasn't happy about the general level of cleanliness in the hotel.
