Warm and welcoming, fabulous gardens which seemed to go for miles, spa is included with pool, hot tub, steam and sauna. The food is excellent and the service is great. Well situated for exploring North Wales. We had a cottage with its own living room and garden, so plenty of space.
Located just 15 minutes’ drive from the picturesque Colwyn Bay, this charming, family-run, Grade II listed building dates back to 1706 and features 2 acres of private grounds.

This place is a rare 10.
It’s an extremely comfortable corner of the hosts home, with its own entrance, a private sitting room (where you’ll be served your breakfast) and a sleeping room with the bathroom attached.
Breakfast is exceptional, even given the very high standard in Welsh b&bs with a large range of options to cover everyone.
The place is located in a super-quiet residential estate. That may, on first glance, put you off, since it’s nowhere special. It is the opposite. Conwy is very close, Llandudno is very close, Bodnant is very close, and you don’t have to sacrifice peace and quiet while visiting them all.
Added bonus, there is a fantastic country pub a few minutes away (The Queen’s Head) which will cover your food and ale needs.
The hosts are about as nice and helpful as you can hope for. Went out of their way to solve my wife’s phone adapter issues (bloody UK sockets!). Well worth having a chat with if you both have an opportunity.

This is a wonderful, cosy, characterful cottage situated at the top of a mountain with uninterrupted countryside views.
Within 10 minutes is a wonderful walk with stunning views of the coast line. A great place to walk your dog if you bring it with you.
We hope to return.
