Staff allowed us to leave the bags prior check in. Bathroom was clean, shower had proper pressure. Privacy curtains is a great thing! 🙂

A very friendly and comfortable hotel - at present it has scaffolding around the outside but don't let that bother you in any way. We never heard any noise from any workman there and they could not see in your room so that was fine. In fact, when you were inside the hotel - the scaffolding or workmen were not noticed at all. Obviously a popular venue for locals which is always a good sign too.

In case we missed last train. The hotel was lovely and modern, the rooms were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. There was a great selection for breakfast with the staff making fresh toast and any type of egg you’d like on request. I would definitely rebook and was sad I only had time for a one night stay.
