Reception staff on arrival was super lovely and she took care of us so well. We needed our second room to be a twin but I'd booked a king. She sorted it out easily and made it easy.
Bar staff in the evening were excellent, friendly and efficient.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Super friendly. Treats and an activity bag for the kids. Food was good in the restaurant and buffet breakfast was good too.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms, with a chic 60s style but modern at the same time. Bar and breakfast areas are beautifully decorated to bring back that 60s ambience of the original newspaper building. Breakfast was limited but good quality.

Property is quite shabby needs maintenance both showers didn’t work uneven flooring bedroom wall covering some kind of padded plastic would it meet fire regulations? Furniture downstairs very hard but there is plenty of room if there’s a lot of people who just want a bed for the night although could do with new mattresses
