Choice of pubs/restaurants in the town.

Choice of pubs/restaurants in the town. We ate in the Moon and Sixpence. Good food. Friendly staff. Flat along the prom but hilly to the town centre. Lots of dog friendly establishments if you like to take your dog with you.

Clevedon is a wonderful traditional coastal town.

Clevedon is a wonderful traditional coastal town. It would probably be a little too quiet for younger visitors but for myself and my wife, in our 60's it provides a very tranquil, relaxing atmosphere with nice welcoming pubs and restaurants.

Clevedon is a lovely quaint seafront with beautiful coastal walks and inviting salt pools. The poets walk is so picturesque and the coastal walk to Ladye Bay is pretty too. The Victorian pier is pretty and the glass restaurant is well worth a visit - yummy food and pretty inside. There are a couple of lovely pubs with beautiful sea views while you enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. The Little Harp and the Salt house bar as well as the glass restaurant on the pier and a few others. I will definitely go back for another visit. It is very easy to get around Clevedon seafront it has a wide promenade and lots of benches along the way if you fancy a rest or just sit and watch the world go by or just look at the sea view.

The hotel suited our requirements . All the staff were courteous and helpful. The food was good and plentiful. We did not appreciate the unruly behaviour of the wedding party. Fighting, swearing and shouting.

Clevedon is a lovely place to visit if you prefer a quieter less commercialised spot. There are walks if you have a dog although they are not allowed on the main beach and a park and play area for children. The marine lake for swimming and a Grade 1 pier. There are several pubs and places to eat. The beach is stony so not the traditional sandy area you would expect. Everything is within walking distance.

The hotel has a lovely traditional feel - a grand, old building with a fabulous location and panoramic views over the sea. My room was small but well appointed, with comfortable bed. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, with the whole experience enhanced by sitting in an elegant dining room at a table overlooking the sea. The hotel is also near to a coastal path which affords healthy walks after breakfast. It’s an easy walk to restaurants and cafes along the esplanade, but the hotel is set in quiet surroundings.

The view is fantastic across the estuary - we really enjoyed that. It was also beautifully quiet. This is a 3 star hotel so dont expect wonderful facilities or decor. They have done their best with the building they have. Everything was perfectly functinal and clean - I'd say one up on Premier Inn. Again fantastic views from the bar where we ate on the Sunday evening. A good menu - lots of choice - much better than we had expected. Easy access to the coastal path.

Lovely setting perched above the Bristol Channel. Fine views from dining room, terrace bistro, and our room on 4th floor. Hotel warned us in advance that our booking coincided with a wedding booking, in fact that's probably why our room became available at such short notice... Easy check in, was booked in for dinner and breakfast at the same time. Very comfortable room, bed, nice big windows opened wide.

Nice and quiet and a good base for exploring North Somerset . Weston-super-Mare and Cheddar Gorge are within about half an hour by car. Would recommend hiring bikes from The Strawberry Line at Yatton Station and cycling along the old railway line to Cheddar. There and back takes about 3 hours, is nearly all off road and is not strenuous. Clevedon Pier is worth a visit

Nice bright park, clean and roomy. Very close to weston supermare and bristol and Clevedon was really lovely. The room was a nice size and the added bonus of a fridge was excellent as we went in the heatwave! We were very comfortable and parked the car outside.
