We had a wonderful stay at Les Picorettes. We were in the area (wine country outside of Lyon) for a friend's wedding, and this location was easy to get to the surrounding places even though all the local roads are small. The room and the breakfast area (a country style kitchen) were super clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host Sophie was very hospitable -- when we arrived in the evening, she helped us make a reservation at a popular local restaurant, which would not have been possible otherwise. The breakfast was delicious, the yard/garden was relaxing, and the parking space easy to use. We had a great time here, and would return again and recommend to others.

A clean, quiet and cozy loft bed and bathroom above a small kitchen/den area located in a very picturesque Beaujolais village. We stayed here only 1 night as we were passing through but would have stayed longer, as the area has much offer. This is a place fit for a couple, like us, who spends their travel time outdoors. That said, there is enough of a kitchen/dining area in which to prepare and enjoy your own meals. Both the bed and bathroom were very comfortable. Parking was easy. Hosts were most welcoming.
The Château de Pizay sits in a 80-hectare forest and vineyard in the Beaujolais region.

The room was spacious, with a view of Mont Blanc wayyy in the distance. The grounds of the chateau are absolutely gorgeous. And the aquasens spa was a great way to spend a nice morning, which my husband and I loved. I messaged the staff my questions about booking spa time and wine tours, and they were very responsive and friendly. The amenities are the best part. 10/10 stay and if we lived closer, we'd definitely would be back!
