An absolute pleasure to stay in this historic property with its beautiful rooms and grounds and to stroll through the streets of Tui.
The hostess helped us find a connecting bus (Vigo to Tui) when all of the buses and trains from Santiago de Compostela were booked and no one at Tourist Info Centre or bus/train stations in Santiago could help.

There was a great view from the room and the staff were very helpful.
Set in the historical Galician city of Tui, a border town with Portugal, this stunning hotel is housed in a majestic old building, surrounded by a peaceful, natural environment.

Lovely setting and very swanky hotel. I enjoyed the quiet special salon when it wasn’t full of a group of hikers

Everything was exceptionally clean and seemed new, the bed had nice, clean sheets, the room was small, comfortable and quite.
It's a perfect option for one or a couple of nights.
The cleaning ladies were very nice and helped us find what we were looking for.

Tui was gorgeous, wish I could have stayed longer than one quick night but was meeting up with friends on the Camino and had to move on. So many good restaurants as well and the river walk is lovely! If you're on the Camino, stop at Albergue Ideas Peregrinas for their breakfast. It's a full-service cafe with strong coffee and American breakfasts with the nicest toasted baguettes. They have a store as well attached with Camino provisions - ponchos, poles with rubber tips, hats, shorts, wool socks, all high quality.

Very historic old town.
Very historic old town. It used to be the capital of Galicia. Beautiful cathedral. Location next to Mindo river makes it very special as well. Strolling along the river, with Tui lingering above was a delight.

Tui was bigger than I expected.
Tui was bigger than I expected. It is a very interesting town close to the Portuguese border and has many historical buildings. There are lots of bars to choose from - El Pilar being our favourite. The old cathedral is worth a visit to view the architecture and there are some lovely walks along the riverside.

Small, beautiful medieval town in a lovely location. The cathedral is stunning and if you buy the small audio tour you can climb up to the ramparts for a wonderful view of the city and river looking across to Portugal.

Restaurant/cafes near Albergue Pallanes were not open for food in the evening when local referrals were given but a nearby supermarket was well stocked. The kitchen at the Albergue provided all that was required for meal preparation. Only stayed one night. At the end of a days travel/walking Tui restaurants were a step too far away.

Tui is a great historical location, with enough modern conveniences for most. It is a great centre for touring and is located close to the border with Portugal It is also conveniently located, for walkers, on The Camino Portugues.
Lovely hostel in Tui, right on the Camino route! About 10 mins walk to cathedral in Tui. Facilities were great, exactly what we needed. We did not cook while here, but there looked to be pots, pans, etc. and hot plates available for use if needed.
We arrived a bit late, and staff were great at organising a remote check in for us. Sent us the building access code, and a video to show us how to get to our room once we arrived. Super helpful! Would definitely stay here again 😊
convenient location, not in the city but not too far away by car. breakfast was sufficient variety although I would have liked to have eggs (maybe boiled at least). Every morning, the server was very attentive with the espresso coffee and warming the milk. the room was well maintained and clean. I suppose the guests private parking area is a “plus” when driving a car in Tui (which was my case). Wifi worked well. every area inside the hotel was maintained clean and tidy.
it is located right on the Camino about an hour and a bit walk from Tui. Miguel, the owner was really helpful. The place was spotlessly clean. bedding and towels provided. Good value for 2 people sharing less so for a single traveller but it was perfectly placed for my needs. there is a cafe within 50m serving good simple food alternatively food can be ordered for delivery. I would recommend this accommodation and I would stay there again
I was arriving late and other hostels wouldn't accept me, but they kindly communicated how I could enter and helped me arrange a taxi from train station. The place is clean, nicely styled, good bathrooms and comfortable mattress. Also, I love Tui. I had stopped on my Camino and decided to pass through again on my way home.
Clean and lovely room in the centre of the Tui. But the restaurant downstairs was very noisy. We can hear people chatting loudly till midnight. Our window was directly above the courtyard where the tables were. Unfortunately we can’t close the window because there’s no AC and the small bedroom was quite hot.
Even on Dec 31, when most Spaniards are home with family and all of Tui was closed, the staff helped welcome me and solve a washer/dryer problem (which was user error). Clean, simple and bare bones, the facility is like a wonderful commune. Very well run and an excellent, happy vibe
The location of the hostel is good if you are doing the Camino. It runs parallel to the Camino in Tui and intersects with it further down the road. A good grocery store is very close by, and laundry across the street.
Its a simple hotel, good to stay if you are in a rush. But it was somehow very noisy when we slept there.
The breakfast is good for the price, not a luxury one, but you get to eat well anyway.
A little gem of a place outside the city of Tui. I was walking the Camino so it was present (right on the path) and nice and quiet
Super clean. Excellent host and a great night sleep 🥾
It is always a treat to stay in one of the Parador hotels. It was very quiet which was nice and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was good, and a good value for the cost.
This is an amazing hotel in a great location right on the Camino. The room was really comfortable and all the staff were great and very helpful. I would definately stay here again.
