Room was larger than expected although bathroom was a little small. Bed was a King size or very large double & very comfortable. Parking for my car was very secure.
Exceptional choice of Continental style food at breakfast, as much as you wanted.
Marked up as 2 star but have stayed in worse 4 stars. Should be upgraded.

Nothing. It was a terrible location with no facilities. The town close by was awful. The restaurant was no longer in operation - ie the restaurant facility managed by a third party pulled out months ago. The included breakfast wasn't provided. There is no bar or cafe.

We only stayed for the night as we were on a road trip, but it was a pleasant discovery. Nice town, great food. We enjoyed the architecture and the nice atmosphere in the city center. Very lively in the streets, coffee places and restaurants, even if it was in the middle of the winter.

I was not a fan of the location where the hotel was.
I was not a fan of the location where the hotel was. It was not Santurce and not really anywhere definate. Nice looking hotel but needs some work on it. Loos as if it might be struggling to keep going.
Because of the noise problem after a lot of asking- they eventually gave us a different room on a different floor.
The lady at the desk was lovely but she said she was not able to contact the manager at the weekend and she had no one to turn to with our complaint of no sleep. She changed our rooms but we had to stay out of the hotel until after 3pm when the new room would be ready.
She removed the car parking charge when we left as a nice gesture. parking was free on the roads on Sundays anyway but it was a nice gesture.
A better room and a good nicghts sleep on the first night would have been preferable. Had a wonder 28 days travelling in home stays and variety of hotels and villas around France and Spain. This was the most disappointing. Will not return.

We would like to have had the opportunity to have stayed a little longer but from the little that we saw it appeared to be a thriving and bustling town with interesting places to visit. There are plenty of bars with a great choice of pintxos ( Tapas ) .

Santurce is a small town with very good public transport.
Santurce is a small town with very good public transport. There are plenty of bars and places to eat around as well as supermarkets. It is situated on the main Bilbao metro system which gives easy access to all the beauty of the seaside resorts around you. I used Santurce as a place to stay so that I could visit friends and family in Las Arenas and Getxo.

excellent for transport - rail, metro and buses all within a few minutes' walk meant you could be exactly where you wanted to be in Bilbao with the minimum of inconvenience. we were there to see family in Sestao and so we ate in various places around the area and had very good value for money.
We had room 601 which also has a huge terrace with outside sunbeds , table and chairs offering spectular views over the harbour
comfortable room with an excellent bathrom
On site underground parking with lift to the hotel- not pre bookable limited space - early arrival needed
Only 15 mins form the ferry port
Uber/taxi or subway to the centre - avoided having to drive through middle of bilboa- would probably still be there!!
The room is clean, with everything you need to stay. Large comfortable bed. The convenient location of the hotel is two minutes from the metro station.
The presence of underground parking (€10 per day), but on a weekday it is possible to park on the street for free.
The breakfast seemed to me rather poor, but for a couple of days, it will do. The staff is friendly, the check-in is fast.
I was free upgraded to a suite.
The room was large, had a large confy bed, with a wc large and well equiped.
The room was cleaned every day.
The breakfast was probably the best I had on a 2 stars hotel. The food was constantly being replenished.
The locations it's quiet, safe, nice and with a metro and bus stop nearby. there are supermarket's nearby in case something is needed.
A very pleasant hotel with plenty of room... a little tired in some places but suited us very well. Situated in a suburb of Bilbao, it gave us reason not to just stick in the city centre. Lots going on on the river. Good connections ... metro & rail into the city and the motorway on a couple of miles away. Breakfast was excellent and parking conveniently under the hotel.
The overall experience for the price was great! The parking was very handy right below the hotel with straight access to the rooms from elevator. Staff was super friendly and they answered all of our questions patiently regarding covid restrictions in the city. They even prepared some city leaflets and a map with tips before our arrival. 100% suggested!!
Location excellent for ferry port. Good hotel to take dog. Breakfast very good. Staff very friendly. Nice walking area outside for dogs. Secure parking below hotel. We ate in bar area of hotel and had a club sandwich and burger as we arrived quite late at night. The food was very good (bit more expensive as you'd expect for a hotel) but lovely.
Our third time here. We had returned on the ferry to Spain and wanted to explore the city. The hotel is situated really near to the port so we were soon settled in by the very friendly and helpful staff. Then onto the nearby metro and into the city centre. Later we return and had a meal in one of the plentiful nearby restaurants.
This exceeded our expectations. A wonderful experience. Our premium room had a large terrace overlooking the ocean. The hotel was very welcoming to our two dogs. Leaving a bowl and dog treats for them. It's a beautiful hotel with friendly and professional staff. We will definitely go again. Thank you.
Beautiful building, pleasant english speaking staff and dedicated underground parking. Excellent small park, with many dog walkers, in front of the hotel. Very attractive neighbourhood.
Train station close by and very regular bus service.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was included and perfectly delightful. It's an older hotel so it's not the shiniest but it was a safe, cozy place to start my Basque adventure.
Location to the train station and underground station in Peñota.
Decent breakfast, parking facility at reduced price for motorcycles.
Close to Bilbao port for early sailing.
