Nice quite rural location near Thy National Park. Relaxed feel and welcoming staff and manager. Nice local food. Had the two course National Park menu and the breakfast buffet. Both very good. Good location to explore walking trails and the coast. Had a rental car so location was not an issue.

We found everything calm and quiet; the bathroom was spacious, the beds comfortable and breakfast excellent. However, the main draw here is really the host, an amazing gentlemen with many stories to tell and the most peculiar affection for birds. We were lucky indeed to hear him play the violin for us (he was at some point a professional violinist) and, unexpectedly, even spotted one of his favorite birds!

However, these are adjacent the living room (which guests are welcome to use) and the host lives in the other half of the house. This is a far more personal experience than you would get in some professionally-run hotel. My wife and I consider this an advantage, but it is probably a good idea to know what to expect.
