It s difficult to do better. The hotel is located on a perfect spot with a great view on the lake. It had just snowed so the landscape was idyllic. Everything is brand new and each element chosen with taste. The spa is perfect with a small pool, a big jacuzzi, a resting room, sauna, hamam and massages options. From there you have a spectacular view on the lake.
The restaurant experience was unreal. The quite young chef is Italian and acknowledged to be a future star. I had never eaten so well. Everything from mise en bouche to the desert was made
With such care and the association of elements was very original, all with local Valais products.
The room was perfect with very confortable beds and a big and beautiful bathroom. A place to go back to as soon as possible.

The hotel has immense charm from its period design and decor. We loved it. It has a spectacular location on top of a cliff. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

I liked the location (20 m from the lake). The apartment is nice and nicely organized. The owners available for any question.

Rooms are fine and the restaurant really nice and cosy. Unfortunately staff is pretty moody, sometimes nice sometimes pretty rude. Not very professional.

Nicely located in the centre of Martigny, very convenient for short stay in the area. Not far from the railway station. The accommodation was moderately priced, offering good value for money.

We knew the place and various activities are offered: biking, walking, fishing, paddling, swimming, ... . There is a lovely alpine garden and we can visit an underground military fortification. Hiking to well-know refuges is possible (Orny, Trient). Don't miss Zaric's sculpture. There is a small one in the alpine garden. Panorama from Belvedere (easy walk) or Splendid hotel is beautiful. Apparently, there is a SPA in the new trendy / design hotel next to the lake. I believe non-resident can hire by hour (to be checked). Champex is not far to Gorges Durnand.

Champex Lac is a charming village that offers a wide range of outdoor activities, like skiing, hiking, kayaking on the lake, swimming, tennis. It is very suitable for family holidays in winter and summer. The environment is very beautiful. Impressives mountains, woods and small villages. The apartment in the hotel was a little on the small size, so seemed expensive. But it is in a stunning position close to the lake, with wonderful walks nearby. The host was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. And it is dog friendly.

Wonderful apartment at Au Vieux Champex with views of the lake. Very clean and nicely appointed. Nice little town with a great bakery and good restaurants. We ate at Restaurant du Glacier which was excellent.
It was a pleasant experience but compared to other locations this property gets a rating of 8.5. There is a beautiful fireplace in the house but I didn't have any wood. The grill looks pretty bad. For 4 days 5 people left us only 2 dishwashing pills. Comfortable mattress but very noisy beds
The Hotel Splendide was wonderful in every way: friendly staff, clean, comfortable bed, hot shower, spacious room with tall windows, and a beautiful dining room with excellent food (both dinner and breakfast). We would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended and a treat if you are in the TMB.
Hotel Belvedere is a great little tradiotional swiss lodge combining old and new in a perfect combo. The personal is very friendly and the view breathtaking. Great location as well on the edge of Champex Lac, a minute walk away from the lake and right on the trail to Le Chable/Mont Fort.
This was a truly lovely experience. We have been to Champex a few times before and stayed elsewhere, but this really surpassed our expectations. Such lovely service - adaptable and friendly. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant. Could not recommend it highly enough.
The hotel is multi-generational family run, with many years experience. We were made to feel welcomed and right at home. The staff is attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the dining room. The food was fresh and beautifully presented.
First of all the owners are a lovely couple and as kind as it gets. The location is exceptional. Sitting on the terrace, whether it’s upstairs from your room, or downstairs from the bar, and watching a tranquil day that is life in Champex go by is unforgettable.
I stayed at Hotel du Glacier several times in the last years. No matter if you stay one night or one week, you always feel a special guest. Old fashioned, swiss style, super clean, very nice people and excellent restaurant.
Lovely room with a view of the lake - didn’t need all the tech features, but our stay was very comfortable. I really appreciated the careful attention to dietary needs when we had a meal at the hotel restaurant.
Literally the most comfortable bed of my entire 4 week trip in the area! The only other hotels I stayed in I preferred my tent and sleep system to their beds, but not here! It was so comfortable and so quiet
A very comfortable apartment. Everything is clean and beautiful.
But mostly amazing are the team who’s run the hotel. The ladies are so nice, and made our stay at their place like home for us. thanks!
Fantastic views of the mountains and a short walk to the perfect Champex Lake and close to the Alpine Garden. Large comfortable rooms with balconies. Helpful friendly staff. Relaxed bar and breakfast.
EVERYTHING. From the kitchen to the mini grill, everything I could have wanted was taken care of! My favorite was definitely the stove/fireplace which kept me really warm and toasty
It is a real nice and friendly place with a good view of the lake and a nice restaurant. The room was very big with a cool balcony. They have a hot pool and a workout room.
