Nothing. It is an older place and seemed charming from the photos. It is in need of significant upgrades. Older places if well kept and run can be charming. This was neither. The owners are cashing in on an old place while spending as little as possible maintaining it. Run it to the ground. Shame.
Individual Wifi Modem in each room. All rooms include Google Chromecast and Cable channels.

Clean, comfy beds, great shower pressure - excellent value for money! Helpful, friendly staff and good location.
We love visiting Radium. It's small, quaint and scenic.
We love visiting Radium. It's small, quaint and scenic. It's typically a one night stop as we drive from Alberta to BC to visit family, but it's one we truly enjoy. Our last trip allowed us to find a quaint little hotel, Inn on Canyon, that is a hidden gem. A budget friendly place with a warm welcome and wow! It was so clean and fresh smelling, not fake or chemically induced - just clean and fresh. If you get a chance to eat at Helna's Stube, you're in for a treat if you love German food (schnitzel!!) and you can't beat a stop at Screamers Ice Cream on a hot day (or, even a cold one if you love ice cream).

We went in the winter months, so it wasn't busy.
We went in the winter months, so it wasn't busy. Which was great! Staff was really friendly and walked around the pool for safety. It was relaxing and we loved looking at the mountains. It is right off the highway, so careful going in and out of the parking lot. There was one man who kept chatting up the single women which was creepy, but staff kept an eye on him.

Radium is a great little village that I have stayed a number of times over the years. It is close enough to places like Banff and Lake Louise to make day trips to but avoid the inflated hotel prices. Plus they have a ton of their own great attractions in both summer and winter.

Great little town with good restaurants and coffee shops.
Great little town with good restaurants and coffee shops. Amazing wildlife - big horned sheep- wandering around town. Close to natural hot springs , hikes, lake Windermere and panorama ski resort. The visitors centre is perfect for all the information on how to get to the natural hot springs , and hike the hoodoos rock formations. Hot springs in town are perfect at dark . Wolf sanctuary is a 1 hour drive north and well worth the visit. 🐺

The receptionist/caretaker Willem was beyond welcoming, hospitable, friendly, and super accommodating to everybody. Very considerate of my big family and very very helpful. He treats my family like he knew them and he was available for everything and anything.
The location is great! Only one of the few motels that has more pet friendly rooms than the no-pets allowed rooms.
If I go somewhere in Radium, BC, I would definitely comeback here! So happy of my experience there!
We were travelling with our cat and our dog so we needed a pet friendly hotel. The Gateway Hotel had several dogs staying overnight along with our own, but the hotel was incredibly quiet. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. There was also an area at the back of the hotel where you could walk your dogs.
Great location! Beautiful mountain view from our room. Super clean and specious room, large patio was a bonus. Beds were very comfortable. Restaurants are on walking distance and close to Radium Hot Springs pool too. All staff members were very polite and friendly. Newly renovated well maintain property. We love to stay here again.
The location was fine, however, the room was freezing cold when we arrived and the room had dead and live bugs all over the place (we counted 15). We left and go a refund and stayed elsewhere. I think this hotel doesn’t have many customers as no one else was staying at the Motel.
Absolutely everything. Everything you’d need is within walking distance, there are trails and paths in every direction. Friendly and accommodating staff, and very affordable. The best stay in radium. 30 min walk to the hot springs and this hotel provides you with a towel as well!
The location is good. You can walk to most anywhere in the town of Radium Hot Springs. Deer and wild turkey are frequent. Kitchenette had all the necessities including fridge, range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and utensils.
The Inn on Canyon is a gem! Excellent little place to stay in Radium Hot Springs. Clean, comfortable, inviting, with exceptional staff. They made us feel like family and that we were home. We can't wait to get back there! 😊
It was pet friendly however people live here and someone was slamming furniture all night, my dog couldn’t sleep and other dogs were hills ring up a storm to the slams, i left at 4:30 in the morning
We liked the view and the location of the hotel. We liked how quiet the property was. We appreciated the opportunity to be in the heart of Radium and so close to the Hot Springs.
Loved the restaurant! Conrad's was outstanding ! Loved the prawn linguini. Loved the location of the hotel. The hotsprings are just up the hill from the front of the hotel. :)
The staff was amazing, went above and beyond for us! Amazing room and beautiful view from our balcony! Best part is my little pup was allowed at the hotel!
This hotel is excellent. Owners take pride in ownership. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Ate in the double decker bus on the property.
