The scenic view from our room and the hot tub on deck was amazing… it was nice we were able to cook our own meals and for those travelling light, being able to order breakfast, lunch and dinner could be a great option, based on the location of the property.

Very nice, even during the winter months if you are okay with cooler temperatures, grey skies and rainy weather. The beach and town areas are clean. Various wildlife and sea life can be viewed with binoculars with lots of trails and points of interest being nearby or a short drive away. Qualicum area is nice to visit during the winter as the shoulder season is not busy with tourists.

This is a nice village that still has a small town feel.
This is a nice village that still has a small town feel. Lots of retirees. A nice local market that runs year round. Beautiful views out to the ocean. Great walking town, as the road is not steep up to the actual town from the beach.

We like QB very much!
We like QB very much! It is the perfect vacation place - small enough to be quaint, but big enough to have everything you want!
Nice places to eat, beautiful downtown, beach, trails, museum, and a golf course.

Stayed overnight only.
Stayed overnight only. Didn’t have time to explore and discover Qualicum Beach. Our stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn was great. Old hotel and outdated room with microwave, small fridge, big table and chairs, big tv, small renovated bathroom with great big shower, nicely folded and presented towels, nice shower toiletry, great big balcony. Fantastic views from our room. Would stay again.

Beautiful miles of beach, peaceful away from the main road that goes along the beach (cars, motorcycles, big trucks go by loudly 24/7). Small town easy to get around, quaint shops, nice cafes, good choice of restaurants (sushi esp). Very friendly people everywhere, all with a relaxed vibe. Not the place to party or for night-life but not a boring family/older vibe either. Grab a lounger, sit back, take a deep breath, smell the ocean and RELAX.

The rooms were very nice , but ..... we stayed on a sun and mon. Sun eve there were people there ,but after that. There was no one around. Couldn't get ice , or assistance.
Not what I was expecting for 300. Dollars a night.
Sorry. But could have an ice machine and a machine for snacks.
Thanks.
For some who remember 1950's motels, the photos were somewhat reminiscent of those rooms, partly because of the layout and partly because of the bedspreads. If this was a 1950's motel, it has been beautifully renovated. Everything from the paint to the furniture and the bathrooms looks very new.
We were to stay 3 nights in one room and 1 night in another. When we arrived, we were told that we could stay in our original room for 2 nights and in the best room for the other 2. Very nice upgrade!
Loved the beautiful ocean front view from our room and balcony with two chairs and patio table to enjoy it even more.
The hanging baskets of gorgeous begonias, add even more charm to this lovely Inn.
Room was spacious, airy and very clean. The king bed and satiny soft sheets was extremely comfortable. Welcoming very friendly lady at reception.
Everything was perfect for our one night stay.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nestled away in the quiet of a beautiful forest, I felt peace and relaxation like no other. Having spent the day with the busyness of a full day in Parksville, it was well worth getting away to this “Cottage “. A large one bedroom suite that is fully equipped and it’s like you’re on your own. I would definitely go back there and one recommended highly to anybody in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area.
The location was what drew me to this hotel, it was right on the waters edge but to it is on the beach is wrong since there are no stairs to take you down. A long walk to the public access at the park. However, the beach was very nice once the tide was out. The sunsets are beautiful and still befuddles me as to how I watched the sun set on the east side of the island... The staff were very nice.
When we arrived at the hotel were greeted with a bag containing our check in details, information about the hotel and a few goodies. A really nice way to welcome us. We loved the history behind the hotel and the uniqueness of each room. The staff were very friendly and informative.
Beautiful home nestled in the mountains overlooking Qualicum Beach. Facilities were clean & comfortable with a beautiful king size bed making for a sound night sleep. This bed & breakfast has 4 king rooms with shared common area & shared kitchenette.
The facility was spotless. Very friendly helpful staff. The room had been upgraded from other reviews. Ie air conditioning, kitchenette, bedding. Very quiet even though motel was sold out.
No breakfast, just excellent coffee and tea in room. The hotel was older but clean and well maintained. Kitchen handy and well stocked. The view was fabulous! Will definitely stay again.
I liked that this room was bigger with more amenities than a regular hotel room. It was quite and private. It was funky in a old hippie sort of way, like staying at a friend's home.
