We loved the farmstay concept - it was clearly a working farm. Being able to meet the animals living there was a nice bonus. The breakfast provided on one morning by the hosts was delicious, and it was fascinating to learn more about their inspiration for the property and their plans for expansion.

So close to the airport, that I used it for a stay before...
So close to the airport, that I used it for a stay before flying out. The town had all the amenities needed for getting supplies, groceries, and a meal before going on to next destination. But realized its really close enough could have stayed here and explored much of the western part of province both south and north of it. Pretty central between Cornerbrook, Gross Morne and north to Jackson's Arm area

The warm welcome at 2 am was much appreciated. I appreciated the availability of refreshments in the lobby. Hospitality is important to me and I was not dissapointed. I slept well in a good bed with no disturbances. Linen was crispy clean.

We received thorough instructions and the owner was very gracious in answering my extra questions. It's very near Deer Lake Beach, a grocery store, and gas stations. We were on our way home and the plane was delayed for 5 hours, there were no available accommodations in the hotel for that evening , we stayed in the lobby. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We appreciated their really nice and welcoming attitudes.

The staff are kind, the area was safe quiet good. The people in the town were amazing as well. Super good location to go visit Gros Morne. It is an older building/hotel so just keep an open mind. It was all good.

Amenities like restaurants and gas stations nearby. The price was definitely right as well. It's an older building so set your expectations accordingly. I would stay again. Lovely staff.
