After one week on Kilimanjaro mountain with very basic conditions, we were pleasantly surprised by the beauty and quietness of this lodge. It gives the impression that you are in the middle of nature as its quiet, green and spacious. People are very nice and ready to help you whenever needed. The food was delicious, I had the best chicken stroganoff :)

Kerama Silent Lodge ligger 8,1 km från Old German Boma och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en balkong och gratis WiFi. Unique lodge with great staff I booked online through booking.com but I didn’t except that the lodge will be nice like that and I found that this lodge has 5* service, it truly was overwhelming with how kind and courteous every single staff member I encountered. From the reception staff, to all staff to the lodge. Very attentive touch that was. The beds were so comfortable! I would highly recommend staying before, during or after your safari or staying all together while you are in Arusha!

Mount Meru Game Lodge & Sanctuary ligger 21 km från Old German Boma och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge samt restaurang. Det finns gratis WiFii alla utrymmen. The waterhole with buffalo, storks, peacocks, zonkeys, monkeys, and various birds. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious meals.

Villa Arumeru ligger 5,9 km från Uhuru monument och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge samt restaurang. The staff was amazing. Incredibly polite and going out of their way to help us getting around. We loved how they had extra toothbrushes, razors, bathing supplies and travel sized toothpastes ready for us, in case you’d forgotten anything. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious, we had a view of mount Arumeru and a nice balcony. We Enjoyed some drinks at the nice bar / pool area and had a tasty complete breakfast at our desired time in the morning. Lovely stay, thanks again for the perfect service!

Hakuna Woga Inn ligger 7 km från Old German Boma och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass samt restaurang. Ligger i utkanten av Arusha så det är lugnt. Nybyggt, klart 2023, så det är fräscht. Men framför allt är det den mycket trevliga värden Baraka som gör det till en höjdpunkt. Lagar enkel men god mat och ställer upp och hjälper till på alla sätt han kan.

Olerai Lodge ligger 13 km från Uhuru monument och erbjuder boende med en säsongsöppen utomhuspool, en trädgård och en terrass samt restaurang. Warm & friendly staff, clean and tasty food. Rooms are well appointed and spacious.

Shamba lodge har utsikt över bergen och erbjuder boende med en balkong, 17 km från Uhuru monument. Denna chalet har en egen pool, en trädgård och gratis privat parkering. The cabins are in a remote area outside of town, you hear nothing but the sounds of nature and the views are beautiful. The place has only 3 cabins, so you really have peace and quiet. The cabins are very big, it has a huge living room, a big kitchen with all utilities you may need. It has a big verandah overlooking the empty land ahead. The lodge has a small restaurant and bar where you can get simple food and some drinks. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night, but it was a great experience and I'd def. Book again

Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge ligger i Usa River och har trädgårdsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en terrass och ett gemensamt kök. Very friendly people, very nice stay. Good laudry service

Maasai Lodge Tanzania - Africa Afini Life ligger vid foten av Kilimanjaro och omges av ett 200 hektar stort naturreservat. Här finns en utomhuspool och en biobastu. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such great hospitality and warmth, that we felt home right away. The lodge is set beautifully in the hills between Mount Meru & Mount Kilimanjaro and the room - a Masaai Boma - was beautifully decorated with lots of love, warm water and very comfy beds. There are lots of activities that you can do; we arrived around 11 am after a night-flight and immediately were greeted with coffee, Tea & self-made cookies. In the afternoon we took a Bush walk with a Masaai guide and walked close to giraffes, saw gazelles, etc. The spear-throwing competition later on and the Masaai singing and dancing was really fun and very entertaining - and the best, happiest that we witnessed during out trip to Tanzania. The food was very delicious, self-cooked and included some local & traditional specialties. Overall, this was such a wonderful stay - we wished we had stayed for more than just one night. An absolute recommendation on your Tanzania trip!!!! Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful time!

Sanna Eco Lodge ligger i Arusha och har bergsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en utomhuspool, en terrass och conciergeservice. Beautiful garden area and the rooms were extremely comfortable and quiet! We didn’t try out the pool but it seemed nice. Food takes a long time (and they do tell you this in advance) but the samosas were some of the best I’ve had since I moved here. We also saw a nice sized chameleon by our room!
