It was amazing!!! We were in the Amazon!!! Emanuel & his family gave us the warmest welcome to their home. The place was amazing and the wooden houses inside the jungle by the River so clean & comfort with view that we felt so relaxed 😎 after so many (amazing) days trekking & climbing Andes mountains. Every morning Emanuel offered us tasteful breakfasts with so many flavours & unforgettable exotic fruit juices!!! Moreover they cooked for us dinners with so fresh fishes, vegetables & fruits! Delicious! The helped us & organised us daily tours to the jungle & the river to see and feel the wild life & nature! Last but not least they were so kind that transferred us to & from airport & to the village to have a drink and dinner. La Casa Amazonas ofrece restaurante y alojamiento en Tambopata. Algunos alojamientos tienen zona de comedor y/o patio. El lodge sirve un desayuno buffet o vegetariano. We loved this place so much! It’s amazing. Calm and you feel connected with the nature immediately. The food was amazing as well.

Lodge staff is taking care of the guests starting from the airport. Lodge has beautiful gardens and loans. Good swimming pool. All enclosed areas covered with mosquito nets. Staff offers great program with different jungle walking trails where it is possible to see different animals. Food is great. We had excellent time at Ecoamazonia lodge. Está a solo 3,5 horas de la ciudad de Puerto Maldonado. (Una hora en colectivo. 2,5 horas en barco Este lodge se encuentra en la reserva nacional de Tambopata. Hay wifi gratis. The total package is a wonderful experience. From the long-boat journey to the field excursions, all well run. The accommodation is superb when you consider where it is in a jungle setting. A quality experience. The staff are superb and the facilities well maintained in a very hot, wet and humid setting. Its the little things like gum boots and well placed umbrellas that make for a well thoughtout experience. Then you add on the wildlife which is everywhere!!

El Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion está rodeado de una exuberante selva tropical y se accede a él en barco por el río Madre de Dios, desde el puerto de Puerto Maldonado. The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!

Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!

El Wasai Puerto Maldonado Eco Lodge se encuentra a 100 metros de la plaza principal y ofrece una pileta al aire libre con vistas al río. The staff were great and super friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day and the balcony had an amazing view. The room had air con which kept it a nice temperature at night. The shower was brilliant. The restaurant: we tried the salad, the amazonian fish and the pork spaghetti and all were fantastic. The breakfast fruit bowls were the highlight though, aside from the cocktails. A day by the pool was heaven with music, drinks and beautiful sunshine. There were birds, boas and sloths. I didn't want to leave.
