It was so comfortable, spacious, clean - all was fabulous. We had everything we needed. The host was great. And it was very close to Tongariro Crossing.

My partner and I stayed at the River Lodge during our Christmas/ summer holiday and it was EXCEPTIONAL. Cleanest room we have ever stayed in. The hosts are fantastic, great vibes all round! The included breakfast was delicious and we had all the amenities we needed. Well worth the price and experience away from a chain hotel. The setting is so green, relaxing and warm. We slept so well as it was so quiet. Highly recommend you stay here if you are planning to hike the Tongariro Alpine Crossing - Dani can organise a direct shuttle to/from the track for you.

El Tekoa Lodge Raurimu se encuentra en Raurimu y ofrece jardín, terraza, wifi gratis y vistas al jardín. Lovely place. Lots of crockery in kitchen to use. Really clean and great location. We enjoyed the walk to the stream.

Cute little outside area. Host is fabulous to deal with. House was spotless, probably the cleanest private house I've stayed at. We travelled at Christmas, so Ohakune in general was very relaxed and quiet.

Breakfast was great - hand built to order with a lot of fresh and homemade ingredients. Sauna really helped after a day on the mountain. Grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Loved the sheep and alpacas.
