Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. The reception desk staff was super kind and efficient.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Management was super helpful in providing suggestions for restaurants, shopping, etc.

Offering panoramic views of Lake Taupo, the luxurious self catering apartments at Baycrest Thermal Lodge feature free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The shores of Lake Taupo are only 100 meters away. Sitting in the thermal bath with a glass of wine after dinner was the highlight. Friendly service and food delivery

We had a very large room with everything you need for a lovely stay. The highlight, however, were the incredibly valuable tips and advice from Judy and her husband. We have travelled a lot, but we have never received such personal (and handwritten) advice and tips for our trip. We can unreservedly recommend a stay there!
