The lodge is located close to the Fish River Canyon's main entrance. The rooms are spread around this well designed lodge. The swimming pool is a great place to enjoy the sunset. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom incorporated natural material to make it a very pleasant place to have a shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the sunset walk up to the hill overlooking the property. The buffet dinner was delicious with a great selection of dishes.

With far-reaching views over Fish River Canyon just below, the private chalets at this property have rooftop windows. Each has an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool is available. Stunning views. Amazing staff . Loved everything

Our visit to Alte Kalkoefen Lodge was a highlight of our Namibia trip. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. The lodge exceeded our expectations in comfort and cleanliness. Another highlight is definitely the food they serve. Suuuuper delicious! The genuine friendliness of everyone there was remarkable. A special touch was receiving a jar of their delicious relish at departure, a favorite of ours during the stay.

Pictures are not showing all the beauty. Stargazing, drinks at the pool and lovely views. Orange river and the desert in a combo. Eco luxury at its best!

We so enjoyed the amenities and the fabulous restaurant: the staff are very friendly and efficient; the food (for vegetarians) was delicious and the accommodation was very comfortable!

Easy to find, friendly staff, stunning location next to the river. The pool with sunset was great and the food was good. Not much to do around the area, but as a little get away or pit stop on a big trip is was perfect! We travelled with our 2 kids and the rooms were great, AC worked awesome and we felt safe and looked after.

Kalahari Game Lodge се намира на магистрала C15, само на 20 километра от граничния пункт Mata Mata между Намибия и Южна Африка. Хижата предлага открит басейн и ресторант на място. We stayed for 2 nights and just loved it. The lodge appears to be pretty new. The rooms are tastefully furnished in a modern style with everything you need, incl. a fridge. Nice terrace for watching the animals, comfortable beds and excellent food at a very reasonable price. We had breakfast & dinner twice and it was really very good. The lion tracking tour lasted for more than 3,5hours as it was difficult to find the lions. We saw 3 females and 1 male, it was worth it! Best out of 16 accommodations on our trip, highly recommended!
