These tents feature all feature verandas with views of the Okavango River. Each tent includes wooden flooring and a wardrobe. They also have a mosquito net and a bathroom. The whole environment and stuff readiness.

And we enjoyed the river safari! Our guide really knew where to go and when to be there!

Set on the banks of the Zambezi River, Caprivi River Lodge offers accommodation in Katima Mulilo. Stores and amenities are available in Katima Mulilo, 2.3 km away. All units include a seating area. Very relaxed and laid back place right on the river. Garden grounds with lots of bird life right out the door. The management of the property is now Caprivi Adventures tour company, so previous issues with management probably don’t apply. As they are part of a tour company, it’s easy to arrange activities. I had two exceptional birding outings on the river with Riian during my stay.

Viewing platform looking over the Zambezi gives a lovely view of the river with Namibia 500m away on the distance. Breakfast was good and the chef produced some excellent evening meals. Many thanks to the staff who went the extra mile to sort out a shared taxi for my journey on to Kasane.

Called from Ngoma border crossing and the fetched us for 150 rand. Had the whole place to ourselves as quiet night. 3 course dinner was excellent as was the wine. Good value at 395 + 125 R
