The owner had really taken the effort to analyse what guests need. For example, I wanted to hang my towel outside to dry - and there was a towel rack. I wanted to leave my dirty clothes somewhere, and there was a laundry basket. Every detail was looked at from a guest perspective. The house was fantastic. Traditional from the outside, modern from the inside. We can highly recommend this place to others.

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. Dear Ampong team, the resort is run with a lot of love and great hospitality. The food in both restaurants is fabulous. Especially the Rimba restaurant with its fantastic terrace for dinner is to be emphasized. The pool and the forest invite you to relax and the monkeys make you smile. We would especially like to thank Raj for his warm support in all matters, such as the valuable tips for the island and all the trips through the very steep resort. We could always rely on him. A big compliment to the whole team. We can warmly recommend the resort (for people who are good on foot and are looking for something special) Thank you very much for everything🥰

Owner very friendly and helpful. I told him abt iron cannot be use and coway not function, immediately he respond and restore the coway and replaced the unused iron. Thank you for the hospitality. Will repeat it soon.
