Very cosy and comfortable bungalow with a lot of privacy in a quiet location. Very good bed and spatious bathtoom. Great patio with of course the excellent private pool. Kitchen is well equipped and the host is super friendly and professional.

Had the best time at Chez Swann, everything was perfect. Miss working from the deck with breathtaking view. Cedric was super helpful and shared local tips, we will be back!

Peaceful location managed by excellent host. Fantastic balance between hilly area and ocean views. All required for perfect stay is there. Well arranged kitchen facilities. Extremely good bed. Hot water. In fact all details are there where are needed.

Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í Cabarete í Puerto Plata-héraðinu, í 300 metra fjarlægð frá Encuentro-ströndinni. Really amazing staff who make you feel so welcome and want to make sure you have a great stay and that you’re comfortable. Special thanks to Juan Carlos who is super helpful and cheerful always. This place just has such a great vibe because of its people who work there. Food is delicious. Rooms are very clean and comfy. The property is very stylish and well taken care of. Yoga and Bachata classes are available for free. Few minutes walk to Encuentro Beach, perfect if you like to surf.

Gististaðurinn Shambala Lodge var nýlega gerður upp og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, bílastæði á staðnum og nuddþjónustu. It is a perfect place to relax - calm and peaceful. The lodge is very nice, especially the outdoor bathroom. Loved the staff, very kind and pleasant to talk to.

Mondi Lodge býður upp á útisundlaug, suðræna garða og loftkælda viðarbústaði með fullbúnum eldhúskrók og ókeypis WiFi. Blue Bay-ströndin er í aðeins 2 mínútna akstursfjarlægð. The accommodation was fantastic, we stayed in the blue turtle Bungalow and absolutely loved it. Indeed, we extended our stay for 2 more nights. It‘s a very chilled out place in a beautiful „jungle“ setting with a great vibe, unlike most of the other accomodation options in Curaçao, truly embedded in nature. The many animals made our stay unforgettable (there are donkeys, cats, turtlesdogs, iguanas, hummingbirds, chickens and many more), but especially the friendly cat Charlie stole our hearts. My boyfriend is more of a dog person, but after meeting Charlie, this has completely changed. The breakfast prepared freshly daily is supherb and creative, we even tried to copy their ideas back at home. As I‘ve read in other reviews before, yes, there are many mosquitos but they are everywhere on the islands. So bring some repellent and sleep under the mosquito net and all good :) And yes, bring some ear plugs as well if you want to sleep with the windows open due to the noise of the animals at night, which, however, is totally fine with ear plugs and makes you feel the authenticity of the place even more. The staff around Danita couldn‘t be any friendlier and nicer. We almost missed our flight home as the taxi didn‘t come as ordered, so they drove us last minute to the airport. Danita‘s dad taught us a lot about the place and its vegetation which we are really greatful for. Also, in our personal opinion, one of the best beaches of the island is located just by the accommodation right after the flamingo (!) lake (Kokomo beach). Also worth mentioning, as this was a last minute trip for us, there were basically no more rental cars left, however, the staff at Mondi Lodge made it happen for us. There are all really caring and nice people. The location of Mondi Lodge is also a great starting point for excursions around the island, very conveniently located. We will definitely come back and stay in Mondi Lodge againy.
