A beautiful hotel near the Udawalawe National Park. Food was great, lots of choices for breakfast, dinner, we were welcomed and looked after by friendly staff.

Plus, the peaceful surroundings allowed us to enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, with monkeys occasionally visible nearby.

Offering river views, Nature Glow Cottage in Udawalawe offers accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. This was the most amazing homestay we ever stayed at. The whole family just went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We could join in the kitchen to learn more about making traditional food and were even invited to the New Year celebration. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and the room was extremely comfortable. They also organized a great safari for us with a great guide at a very fair price. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I recently stayed at Secret River Side Safari Lodge and had an amazing time! The hospitality was top-notch, and the host organized an incredible safari that added an adventurous touch to my stay. The room was spacious with stunning views, and the on-site dining was a delightful culinary experience. A perfect blend of luxury and nature. Highly recommend for a unique Udawalawe getaway! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A green and beautifully run guest house where we really like to stay. The owners were some of the kindest people we met and went out of their way to give us advice and a smile! The owners talk to us very well. Dinner was perfect, very romantic and delicious buffet. We also booked a safari through them which we love, it was just the two of us in the jeep and we saw more elephants with a knowledgeable driver ( sujee ) .Definitely getting old. He made sure that all of the food was suitable for the 5 year old. He also arranged our Safari, which was great as well! We really like the "tents" - which were actually little houses, everything was super clean, and even though it was 35° outside during the day, we did not even need the AC during the night, as the tents are in between trees. We also like the access to the river for a swim in the morning, We definitely recommend to stay there!
