Arawe is a newly renovated 150-year old nature cottage located around 400m from the centre of Ella.

The cottage stands on a 5-acre land overlooking a rice paddy field and is the only guest accommodation on the property. I don’t have enough good words to describe this place. We left with a heavy heart this morning, that’s how much we loved it. The bungalows are crafted with such love, attention to details and taste. It is surreal to be so close to Ella Main Street yet having your own nature haven. The place is so peaceful, you will feel completely disconnected from real life and be in your own bubble. The food is excellent, prepared in front of you at breakfast in your own little outside kitchen. They even have a little local crafts shop where you can buy macramé items made by local women they are supporting. I absolutely cannot wait to go back again, and this place has definitely been the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much for everything!

The breakfast was also delicious and the view from the hotel is breathtaking. Overall, the hotel exceed our expectations by a mile and was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Ella, excellent value for money.

Feels like a 5-star hotel but with love approach. The host pays attention to the small details: the towels are soft and fresh, there are roses in different places as welcoming, arrival drinks with a cake. I felt in love with the place. The terrace is also so nice. I could observe the squirrels and some special Sri Lanka bird. The furniture is modern and stylish. It is very near to the center and bus station. I will stay there next time when I am in Ella. Amazing hospitality.

One of our best stays on Sri Lanka! Stuff amazing, they offering free pick up and drop off for check in and check out. Owners will do everything for you to make your holidays easy and smooth! We asked for tuk tuk for round trip, they found best price for us, we asked about taxi to Yala - they found the best price for us. Anything we need they helped with! And you are in the middle of forest, no rush, just trees, monkeys and few other animals. Really nice stay we enjoyed and would recommend to everybody. Thank you again for everything you did for us.

Ayubo Ella's location is also a plus, just 1.2 kilometers away from the heart of Ella, and conveniently close to the train station. A pleasant 20-minute walk brings you to the station, allowing you to explore the surrounding areas with ease. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's staff, who were incredibly friendly and attentive. They made us feel like part of the family. The breakfast they served was superlative - a delicious spread that energized us for a day of exploring. And when it comes to dinner, I can only say that the flavors were simply divine. Now, let's talk about the rooms. The room we stayed in was not only spacious but also equipped with all the necessary facilities. It was clean, comfortable, and provided a brilliant view right from our window. Watching the sunrise from the room was an experience I'll cherish.
