Such a lovely place with really friendly owner who made sure our stay was comfortable and he also arranged us a great and funny guide called Sagara for Sinharaja Forest. We got to stay in the newly built hut and the room was clean and very comfortable. Best part was the private terrace with an amazing view to the rice field and the forest. Also the food we had here was great. The surrounding of this place is beautiful and quiet, also with lots of birds to see. All in all a great stay, bohoma stuthi! I will definitely come back!

The Eco Lodge in the forest was incredible; the pictures on the post don't do it proper justice. The staff (Husband and Wife team) were kind, thoughtful locals, so they knew a lot the area and cared about our stay. They communicated as needed and prepared us for a successful stay and hike in the forest with a knowledgeable guide. Ohh, and the food at their restaurant was some of the best food we had in the country!

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Rainforest Mount Lodge is situated in Deniyaya. Rain Forest Mount lodge is located opposite the main Pitadeniya entrance to the Sinharaja Rain Forest. Amazing views and lovely family. Great easy guided walk in the forest we saw so much nature.

Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. Departing was bittersweet, as we had grown attached to the unparalleled hospitality and the tranquil ambiance of our temporary home. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.
