Thisara and his family were the most helpful and friendly hosts They gave us advice on activities, helped organise transport in town and onto our next destination and were always available. The food was fantastic, breakfast and dinner were delicious local dishes frim their own gardens. The view was amazing, the room spacious and the bathrooms clean and a good size. Featuring mountain views, Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort in Deniyaya features accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and water sports facilities. The Eco Lodge in the forest was incredible; the pictures on the post don't do it proper justice. The staff (Husband and Wife team) were kind, thoughtful locals, so they knew a lot the area and cared about our stay. They communicated as needed and prepared us for a successful stay and hike in the forest with a knowledgeable guide. Ohh, and the food at their restaurant was some of the best food we had in the country!

This family run place with cosy rooms is located within walking distance from the entrance to Sinharaja National Park. It offers an infinity pool with awesome views, some really sweet and playful dogs, and just in general a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the middle of the jungle. The family offers the following: - The cool Son brings you cold beer, helps and organises cheap local transport and is an amazing guide who helps you spot rainforest life (and get good photos of it), plus make sure you make it home in one piece. - The sweet Mom cooks some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Asking for the spicy option is highly recommended. - The kind Dad takes care of the place and kills any giant spider that may enter your room with a broomstick. Prices are reasonable and upfront in a remote paradise.

Located in Hiriketiya, the recently renovated Coconut Cabin - Hiriketiya Beach provides accommodation 2.6 km from Kudawella Beach and 5.6 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. The quiet away from busy beach, at night there are no street lights, just the stars and fireflies. Close to (100m) very vibrant beach and great surf spot, lots of restaurants and parties, but when you are in need of quiet, its just 100m away. The cabin is stylish and clean with a private garden. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.

Offering a garden and pool view, Greencliff Mirissa is situated in Mirissa, 2.8 km from Weligama Beach and 34 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. The property was very clean, beautiful and exactly what we saw on pictures. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great but not if you don't have scooter or other transport, it is not near the central way or beach by feet.

Furthermore, it is close to interesting tourist areas, amazing beaches, restaurants,…The hotel is modern, cosy, furnished with great taste and sense of details, everything is perfectly clean, the swimming pool is amazing, the food is delicious!!!
